Antonio Margarito Returning to the WBC rankings.

    Suliman and the WBC have decided to let Margarito re enter their welterweight rankings after six month's of his one year punishment have passed.
    Margarito says he has been staying in shape and training for a possible fight in September in Mexico.

    I know this is a minority opinion on the forums....and i'm no margo fan, but i think he should be given a second chance...

    the only 2 fights i really want to see margo in is cotto 2, or cintron 3......that will tell me about margo, and what he has left....and I would still pick him to win both....

    he isn't gonna be any good given the layoff, the fact that his gloves arent loaded, and without capetillo in his corner....

    i am convinced he started loading the gloves after the loss to paul williams... subsequent to that 12 round fight where he hit paul flush several times in the very late rounds and could not move him, margarito suddenly turned into a destroyer:

    golden johnson early KO
    kermit cintron 2 brutal fight, brutal KO, earlier than in their first fight
    cotto TKO

    then he gets found out and gets annihilated by mosley

    have him come back, i don't care either way, he is gonna get his ass kicked without his "power"

    I flew over 4 the Cotto/Margo fight & all i witnessed was the odd's on fav getting hammered fair & square:smoke

    Boxing is a pretty forgiving sport. We've forgiven fighters before and chances are, Margarito will be forgiven once his suspension clears up.

    Personally if he does his time quietly and lets his suspension go full tilt, most people will consider it a job well done and go back to viewing him as they normally did.

    WBC should've honored his punishment. This is a joke, imo, that he's allowed to come back early. He had loaded gloves, was caught cheating doing something that could've really hurt his opponant

    Margo should be rated #1. He is by far the best out there. Mosley was on the juice when he beat him and his trainer was responsible for the wraps.
