WOW!! This card looks great. I would have to say there are some fight I;d rather see there than on UFC 100.

I know eh, but Keith always surprises me. And sorry Quebec warrior I think I even read that post before lol It just hit me today on ufc.com that 102 is seriously a quality card.
I actually dont think its good at all. Couture/Nog both are done. Couture fights once a year and is 46 years old, Nog is completely shot, past his prime and definitely shouldnt be fighting. The fact that its the main event is embarassing. Maia/Marquardt is the fight of the night in my opinion. Very good quality fight that has alot of impact on the MW division. Vera/Hamill....meh. Vera is just not very good. And Hamill should win this in my opinion with his wrestling ability. But really, these guys will likely never compete for a title at 205. Jardine/T. Silva. Come on, Silva is terrible and Jardine is just a gatekeeper who lacks the ability to defeat top-tier LHW's. Hes a good fighter but not a great one. I guess its a decent mid-tier main card fight. But nothing more, and a fight that will certainly have very little impact on the LHW division. Overall, not a bad card, but far from great.
Not trying to be biased but Vera is very intriguing when he stands up and throws. Because hes been so freaking effective everytime he did it. The Silvia, Werdum, Jardine fights showed that but he just so damn inactive. His standup is also very clean, some pop, textbook and he knows defense, the man has never been seriously tagged or hurt. Although I agree that id be surprised if Hammill doesnt take him down with ease.
I'm curious to see what Randy and Nog bring to the table, both past it so at the very least it's not a mismatch! Then again how many times have people been to quick to say Randy is done.
very interesting card to say the least,i cant wait ufc 100,101,102,103,and 104 are starting to shape up real well...im buying all of them just like i always do,but add in a few strikeforce and affliction and wec events and we have a good 6 or 7 months of solid mma
Nog vs Randy would be like anticipating Holyfield vs Roy Jones....past their primes but an interesting match and could be entertaining.
