Normally man there is no 0 year. The new era starts with 1st years. The first decade was 1-11.So a decade start at the first year. 1991-2001 is a decade. Not 1990-1999 which is in fact 9 only nine years or 1990-2000.

unless they changed the rules the decade ends this year,at least thats what the people that give the award think cause when Roy Jones won it was for what he did from 1990 to the end of 99.

Yeah it depends what they chose as a starting point. So last time it was 1990-1999???. That means that it is going to be decided the end of this year. Pac hands down haha. Even if Floyd beat JMM and Pac loses to Cotto he has done too much.

    hmm says...

it'll be Pacquaio without a doubt.
If PBF beats JMM, he still won't be fighter of the decade.
If Pac loses to Cotto, he'll still be fighter of the decade.

2000-09 I believe tho someone put forward a good case that it should indeed be 2001-10 because the very 1st yr wouldnt be classed as 0, it would be classed as 1... he has a point.

Anyway... Im pretty sure its 2000-09 :good

No, just no... achievements are something to be recognized, Im not disputing this but that doesnt mean you get the green light to brush defeats under the carpet, especially when his closest rival has never lost & was actually a face in boxing the entire decade unlike Pac, who only became SO well known in 2003 by kicking Barrera`s ass all over the ring (that was great :D)

Please consider what Ive said, its not anti-Pac, its just how a lot of people + the powers that be who give these awards might view things.

    :good

That guy never lost but he spend more than two years without fighting while Pac was kicking ass, also Pac only lost once in this decade and that was a close fight with Morales.

    Mayweather.

It would be Calzaghe if he didn't waste his career in Britain
