Why do people hate Margarito?

Maybe cuz he's a cheater.

Look I like Margarito but the guy is guilty of illegal wrapping. I don't care if its old gauze or whatever people say it was, the fact is they knew what they were doing is illegal. You can't put old bloody gauze on both hands and then claim "oopps. How did that get there".

I myself like Margarito but the wraps incident is not easy to forget ...regardless if he knew its a mark he has to live with. I hope to see him fight again soon!

There are many who hate Mexican fighters. They very same ones that call for an exciting fighter don't want Margarito to fight.

 

Are you serious? Fight fans don't like cheaters.Period.

 

Considering this thread was started long before "wrapsgate", I'd say people who were perceived as Margarito haters more less hated some of his delusional fans who failed to acknowledge his limitations.
