i did that in karate and it worked fine, dunno about doing it boxing though. we do a similar and i think better version with 9 or 10 people where one person is the subject and the other people are the sparring partner. every minute or 2 the other people rotate out to stay fresh while the subject has to adapt to the new style and keep fighting someone who's fresh while he's more and more worn out. i love doing that drill.

Is this for boxing training? By that I mean to get read for a boxing match?
It seemes like a very good idea for self defense. As for boxing i can see where creating extra stress in training can lead to a clam mind in a bout but if I were a trainer (I'm not) I don't think I would use it.

Well, I am a trainer and I will never use it. To change sparring partners after each round is fine even after a minute or two could work, but never ever would I try to put two against one in the ring.

Think the concept is being taken to seriously. Its a Fun thing, where two young ones with no expeirance mess about with a seasoned performer whose not Punching back as such to Teach the Kids movement. Ive had World Champs do it, even seen Duran do it once at an Amatuer Club. The Kids loved it, plus the seasoned Pro has to find positions. :D

I have had the 2 on 1 sparring. Was a gym in Perth, Aus.

Basically, you finish of a give or take combo with one then turn to the other. Wasnt full on and it was more for movement and pivoting from what i could make out.

actually it does matter. i personally don't care, but i'm guessing he's trying to gauge your credibility. no need to be an ass about it, it's a simple question.

Actually it doesn't matter. He has a right to privacy and offered an opinion.... He doesn't have to validate that to anyone.

And for the record my opinion is the same as his.

this is true what your saying..it was a simple questio that all..

and to scrap if your gonna get on the net amd drop words like ive had world champions and im a trainer and in my gym, you got to expect people to ask questions, and you are intitled to some privacy but it doesnt sound like you want it with the statements your dropping, just my thoughts. :D
