What round would you have thrown in the towel?

It was good win for joe, and lacy showed heart.....but still doesnt change my opinion joe is overrated....thats not hate, just my opinion....joe is a good boxer, but not great like some claim...

I can show you HUNDREDS of fights in the past with guys taking worse ass whippings and came back....Cotto took more PUNISHMENT than Lacy took....Now I understand this is your hero and all, but now I can see why this sport is in the "SHITTER" with all of these cancellations and delays...

it's not about joe, or even lacy, it's about how calzaghe gave lacy a horrendous, merciless beating the likes of which are rarely ever seen

 

I felt they could have stopped it anytime after 8 or 9 as it was clear his chances were next to none...it was a total mismatch, a total beatdown. Lacey must have felt humiliated in there...yet still had the heart to carry on. Lots of other fighters would have said in there corner "pull me out I cant win this one..i'm getting hammered help me!" and you know what? I wouldnt have held it against Lacey if he had quit.

I'd love to hear the US commentators for that fight cos they were all saying how he was gonna KO JC.

 

joe is nothing close to being my hero, i dont like the guy, i laid scorn on him for fighting roy and his horrendous performance against hopkins

joe's probably the most under appreciated boxer on ESB. a lot of that is his fault, with his **** resume. but the guy beat everyone who challenged him, and proved how good he always was at the tail end of his career

 

It was a GREAT performance by Calzaghe, but that may be exaggerating things a little eh:roll::think
