    Chambers fights are exciting. That’s what matters afterwards. I find it hard to agree that someone will classify his fights with Brock, Povetkin and Peter as boring. Those were exciting fights contrary to Haye v Barrett.

    Haye has NOT fought strong competition at cruiserweight. He has fought only one strong opponent in Mormeck who was past his prime and has not fought since. Haye did not try to defend his cruiserweight title. He picked a domestic fight against Maccarinelli. It was nothing more but a domestic fight. You cannot convince me that O’Neil Bell or Cunningham were worse than Macarinelli. The fact is Haye was not willing to take risks. Another proof he is not an exciting fighter. You are not exciting when you take shortcuts.

    So others are overweight. What about Haye gaining muscles? Why do you think it will make him faster? Haye will be slower at +200 in my opinion. You make it look like Haye will take everything positive he had at cruiserweight and use it at +200. It does not work like that. Haye will lose something moving up in weight.

    Well he unified division in twenty something fights. He is definitely taking some risks.

    He was also going to face Wladimir couple of week ago. I don’t think he is avoiding competition.

    i dont see where i compared ruiz to chambers? i was making the point that fighting top opposition alone does not make you an exciting fighter

    That past prime Mormeck beat O'Neil Bell who you claim to be better than Macaranelli. Also Mormeck hasn't fought since but is preparing to move up to Heavyweight. Haye also beat the current WBC champ at CW in Fragomeni. Gurov was also regarded as very dangerous opposition to anyone with his power.
    Where has Haye taken shortcuts? he has taken risks but i don't see shortcuts? you are just clutching at straws to put the guy down now.

    Haye looked just as fast and destructive in his 2 opoening fights at Heavyweight to me... looked a bit eager to impress and wild against Barrett but one thing is for sure... his fight against Barrett was far more entertaining than Wlads fight against Rahman who at the time was meant to be inferior opposition than Barrett according to many fans on this site. When Haye was due to fight Rahman everyone was saying not to fight the shot Rahman and take up Barretts challenge as he is more dangerous. Now Barrett is a nobody... isn't hindsight a wonderful thing

    Why do all Klitschko fans feel the need to belittle Haye? If Haye does fight Wlad and does land a bomb on his fragile chin and stops him what is that going to say about Wlad? does that mean Wlad is a bum if Haye beats him seeing as how you all think Haye is a bum?

    We can't force people who are bored to become excited. Effective isn't exciting. It's like there is no risk for wlad to lose as long as he jabs till his opponent gets utterly frustrated and spent. He's got the longest, stiffest, most effective jab, and it alone can win fights. If a fighter show no risk, then he's boring.
    ON the one hand, boxing fans are very passionate about what they watch. They get excited only if there is risk involved. Rarely do they pay to see something expected, like a 6'5" heavyweight using the jab to no end.

    Why not? They have more in common than not. Personally I think Lewis & Wladimir have more in common but all 3 have ATG jabs and 2 of them have ATG power. I'll let you guess which one of the 3 has the least power.........................

    Wlad could not carry Holmes' spit bucket.

    Holmes beat greats such as Muhammad Ali. Who did Wlad beat? The Merciless Ray Austin.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::patsch:patsch:patsch

    I swear these guys have selective memory when it come to past Champions. They forget how many stiffs Tyson fought in the beginning too. What about Marciano? He fought old guys & underweight guys too. That doesn't change the fact that he was head & shoulders above the available competition of his time.

    yeah i will NEVER underestand that one. holmes hw era was a disgrace. cooney was his big fight??

    ive heard many older people say that the 80's are what turned them off the hw's for good.

    and yet to compare holmes to wlad is not appropriate?! please. holmes was jab...jab....jab...jab...move a lil...jab....but hes some great wonderful champ and wlad is horrible.
