It should be fun to watch the show itself but Anthony surely has no fans left after this. No doubt Anthony will explain how the top guns in Pavlik, Abraham, Froch, Kessler, Sturm, etc etc around his weight are running from him. Anyway no real surprises here, we all knew Anthony wasn't going to step up.

 

This is true Francis , Mundine realised after getting KTFO by Ottke and struggling so bad v an injured Kessler he could never compete with the serious lads in the 168lbs division ,ok he went through the motions with Greenie but lets be honest here he never truly lived up to his own bullshite really which is a pity in a way for all concerned , despite my negative attitude towards the bloke im a bit gutted because all my mates are boxers or ex boxers and they have always taken the **** out of me whenever i have suggested a rugby player could make a world champion with the correct training and desire and Mundine was my big hope, but gradually through Mundines antics and lack of heart ive been proved wrong :-(

 

You guys are hard to please......Mundine VS Victor Oganov {If he wins}....I would like to see that.

So from that I think the final is on a Mundine undercard January 11....that means the winner fights Mundine April for the IBO world MW title.

I look forward to Mundines next fight in September....its going to be a ******* :yep

I swear Anthony Mundine is a *****.

Fights bum after bum, steps it up only when he absolutely has to, takes the easiest step up possible, (hey i like Daniel Geale but out of him, Sturm, Abraham and Pavlik, Geale was the easiest fight) wins a razor thin fight and then refuses to give a rematch, saying if its ordered he would vacate the belt.

Promises to step up before and after every fight and just when you think he actually might, pulls some **** like this.

 

So these are the fighters in the Aussie Contender:

Shannan Taylor
Nader Hamden
Victor Oganov
Junior Talipeau
Sonni Michael Angelo


Now obviously thats not a complete list and dont get me wrong, they are some very good local match ups in the MW and SMW division which i would love to see happen and looks like we will get to see, so the show itself definitely isnt all bad.

What shits me and i think most others is Mundine will probably fight once or twice more this year against NO ONE, have a fight on Jan 11 next year with the main undercard bout the final of the Contender and then the fight after that will be against the winner? Ridiculous!

 

HA HA HA HA i feel for the Mundine fans again, So Much for Pavlik or Sturm. Pittman was dogged off the show also....I....Wonder....why?

What shits me more then anything else is here we have Darchinyan, A true fighter about to go for yet again a new title in a new weight class and he hardly gets any spotlight about it.

Aussie boxing sucks so much at times. Darchinyan, Katsidis, Bika often get screwed over because the reporters here have no clue about real boxers.

 

Good to see Pittman going public with his omission. I thought I had the inside scoop, but one thing they apparently left out was that Pittman was the ONLY applicant to be knocked back.

 

So Mundine is fine to give Taylor or Nader a rematch if one of them win it, yet wants no part of Geale again.......gee i wonder why that is.:roll:

He has pulling power,but believe me he doesnt get to choose fighter for the contender tv show.
Its up to the network,producers and tv people.
The mundine fight is just a carrot to make it more intresting as with hamdan,taylor and co it could become pretty boring.
They are using mundines name to get ratings.
They know many people will watch the winner fight mundine.
Its just a big money spin.
