    for the time being yes

    but once 4-5 more other fighters surpass Calzaghe's accomplishment, Joe is out of any respectable top 100 atg list

    Don't waste your time telling me anything about Joe and Ottke's careers. There is no huge material difference in their careers except Joe managed to add a couple geriatric names to the end of his resume. They even fought several of the same fighters (some of which Ottke fought FIRST). Watched nearly all of their fights (and absolutely EVERY SINGLE CALZAGHE FIGHT - including all of the 4 rounders, fat guys, bums, old fat guys, old fat bums, mediocre guys, average guys, fights in which refs ended them early to his benefit, ridiculously scored fights, narrow decisions over mediocre fighters, few narrow wins over slightly better fighters, and the couple way past prime ATGs he got victories over while generally looking **** poor or comparatively less talented) and long before you even knew either of their names).

    Depending upon one's rating system:

    Joe = 150-200

    Sven = 160-210

    Generously attributed

    I would LOVE to see you come up with 150-200 better fighters then Joe Calzaghe, the only way you could even come close to that is adding a ton of old fighters who you've seen none or hardly any footage.

    Your comparison between Ottke and Calzaghe is pathetic.

    Calzaghe's level of opposition was lacking for a while but he finished up strong by cleaning out his division and then moving up to beat Hopkins in a 2-year span. The sheer length of his title reign and the fact that he never lost a fight as a pro make him an ATG as far as I'm concerned. Also, consider that there are different degrees of greatness. It's all subjective at the end of the day.

    I like the way you put it. :D

    I think Calzaghe deserves to be called great.

    That said, **** Calzaghe and those who think he's greater than Lennox Lewis.

    I do remember these so called "past their prime fighters" was pretty good before Joe beat them, and why the hell do a division have to be weak if its just happends to be topped by european fighters?

    Calzaghe was awesome. So many fighters wish they had a fraction of his talent.
