BBC3 had the confed cup on this month so why not put some boxing or other sport on that station as well. It would be great to see boxing on the tv again.

I read that BBC will not show Vitali Vs. Haye in Sept. Why is that?

True but they need to get some established stars. That would work, Haye and Froch on BBC, that would get big ratings.

O Yes - it is a massive con.

There was a artcile by a Jorunalist in the Sun just last week.

He said that he had a relative who worked for the BBC as a day to day techician. One day the guy turned up for work and and saw all these skips outside. Inside the skips were loads of perfectly good chairs and tables and maybe even computers - seemingly being thrown out in vast numbers.

He asked what the **** was going on? :huh

How come all this good quality equipment is being thrown out with the rubbish?

He was told that the BBC bosses had decided to have a refit and have brand new equipment brought in - just to freshen things up.

All paid for by - TV license payers money - wasted money.

I think it is criminal that we have to pay TV licence and taxes and we dont know what it gets spent on.

I think that every penny of peoples TV licence and taxes should be accounted for.

The journalist also slagged of one of the BBC bosses who on hearing there was a outbreak of Swine Flu she sent a e mail around to all BBC staff telling them to use a hankerchief when they sneeze :patsch

How much would it cost the BBC to cover this fight?

Would they have to pay Haye's purse as Setanta were doing?

I think we're talking about millions to cover this fight not hundrerds of thousands. No way the BBC can justify paying out 4,5,6 or 7 million for one fight.

So if they picked up Haye and Froch on multi fight deals, and both of them look likely to lose in there up coming fights (well Froch I doubt will run the entire course of the tournament he is in). Haye is a massive under dog to Vitali, I think they might see Fraudley's in the making. Not saying they will lose but they are flawed fighters who could lose, if Haye was KO'd by the first big Klit punch it could be another nail in the coffin of BBC wanting to show boxing if they were to pick this up.

the past month is a prime example why the bbc dont wanna know, far too many fights being canceled or opponents changed.

if you beleive that Haye actually wants the fight on BBC, and is not jsut saying the to get more pennies out of Sky, your sadly mistaken.

Haye has fought on the BBC before

instead of throwing petty insults out why dont you actually explain yourself. this is a forum, people come on here to express an opinion.

Haye knows that Sky are the only game in town, so they can dictate the terms. By starting a few BBC rumours or getting them interested he might get a few quid more from Sky.

If Haye was offerd 1mil by the BBC for the fight, or 2mil by Sky, he would take Skys offer. Infact if he was offerd 100k more by sky, he would probably take the sky money.
