Agreed! With the two fights that compeitive and close there can be arguements made for both sides. I feel Pac won both but I understand who feel the opposite. I just think Pac won based on inflicting more damage. But JMM was a better or more efficient boxer.

One thing is for sure, PBF can & will beat JMM. It may be hard to accept for some, but no debate will change those facts.I am interested to see how many JMM fans will actually bet on JMM. Both are great fighters, but PBF will have even MORE haters after this.

We don't need to debate back and forth who is the better fighter or better technical fighter between Marquez and Pacman. What I would say though is while PBF may or may not stop Marquez I am certain hev will stop Pacman.

I had Marquez beating Pacquiao by a point in the rematch. But Pacquiao carries the higher weight better and stylistically would give Mayweather a tougher match IMO.

Mayweather shouldn't say he is 'the greatest of all time' until he has fought the best in his weight division.

Regardless of politics, excuses etc he hasn't. He should keep his mouth shut until he's fought the top fighters in his own division. It's as simple as that.

It's very difficult to beat a counterpuncher convincingly. (See also Bernard Hopkins.)

They don't take risks and only throw punches when it's safe to and they know they are going to connect. Which means they always end up with the cleaner, more solid punches.

It's a difficult one, because who should get more credit, the guy who is laying it all on the line and being agressive and attacking. Or the guy who keeps his hands up and is waiting for that perfect risk free moment to throw a solid counter.

Marquez may have problems moving up in weight as not everyone is a freak of nature like Pac (or Paul Williams) who has kept his speed and power while piling on the pounds. (Some say this is due to large leg muscles)

When piling on that much weight it can leave you slow, sluggish, lower your energy levels and strain your frame which is actually not meant to carry that kind of weight.

Not to mention that Marquez`s highest hydration during fight night is only 140 ish, compared to Mayweather`s hydration 150.

Not much size difference is there:

    Mike Tyson 5' 10" Reach 71"
    Shane Mosely 5′ 9″ Reach 74"

Which weight class a boxer is in is down to FRAME SIZE/BONE DENSITY. Any boxer can pile on pound upon pound of muscle. But it means he will end up sluggish and lower his energy levels using his small frame to drive all that weight. On the other hand a boxer like Mike Tyson was short but had a huge frame able to support huge amounts on muscle on it.

also, pbf is actually 5'8 and 1/2 or 5'8 and 3/4 according to HBO. so its really almost a 2 inch height difference.
