Before he met Taylor, was Froch overprotected ? Nothing notable from Nottingham before that... Bute will need to step up right after Andrade II but that's the plan anyways....
Are you kidding me? Stop playing that game. He said Bute, not Interbox. I heard the exact same thing 1 week ago at the gym and wrote it here.
ANd if, this we dont know yet, the fight is on PBF-JMM undercard that would just be best thing that could happen to Bute (or Andrade).
For fighter like Bute its always about compensation. Hes not cut from the same cloth as Froch, Froch has ambition Bute/Kessler/Abraham they are a different breed. Risk reward. If I was Froch let these Jokers die a slow death no one will remember them
Froch refused in 2007 an eliminator fight against Bute for the IBF belt. That was a risk-reward situation, what do you think?
What your gym didn't mention why Bute said let's go with Andrade instead is because Bute got a lot of heat for the way his fight with Andrade ended, therefore he felt pressured and now truly desires more than anything else, to dominate Andrade ASAP from start to finish..That's the real reason ! Just 2 years ago Frochy was offered to fight Bute but he declined that because his team felt other options were probabaly better to enhance their chances to gain a belt...Did your gym ever mention that ?
Do you think Bute is the one negociating? How could Bute price himself out? Boxers don't speak to other promoters. Hearing something in the gym is not very credible unless you say who it is. Bute said no to a Froch fight because he wants to face Andrade as soon as possible.
The same applies with any purse, including the one he would have had against Froch. What's the point?
