    The question is clear.

Will Amir Khan be rated higher than Ricky Hatton once his career is over?

Looking at Hatton's career now, which is still an exceptional one by any normal standards, I suspect Khan will go on to achieve more. That's my gut instinct, but we'll have to see how that chin holds up.

There's no way of knowing until we have the benefit of hindsight. That said, Khan's frame is huge and if Roach does manage to turn him into the fighter that he keeps saying he will, then Khan could become a success at multiple weights. Let's not get carried away, though- Khan's gotta beat Kotelnik first.

Should have maybe reserved judgement but I don't think Khan will clear out any divisions, and probably won't be a ultiple weight champ.

Just because Roach predicted great things we automatically believe, mainly due to his predictions prior.

    Khan will get completely sparked.

All he's done since prescott is beat a handicapped Barrera and all of a sudden he's P4P material.

Its ****ing madness actually when i think about it.

no way khan might only be 22 and has youth on his side but hatton was a beast and has only lost to best where khan got sparked out by a nobody

If Khan had just a bit more of a chin than I would have voted yes. But he does not so it has to be no from me. Sooner or later he will be sparked again and the job of rebuilding him will only be harder. I'm sure it is not the primary goal for Khan but he has already made plenty of cash in his short pro career to date. I bet there are a few ex British and Europeans champs who would swap their career records and titles for Khans bank balance. Equally I’m sure there are some who wouldn’t.

Got to say Hatton will be remembered as the better for the simple fact that from what Khans shown so far, he's just not as good as Hatton.

    No chance IMO

Can anyone see Amir winning a gruelling fight like Tszyu, or tough contests overseas like Collazo?

    I can't.

I think people are getting a tad carried away by a dubious (in value terms) win over Barrera.

Hatton for now. Too early to tell about Khan.
