Was a good fight, but not worthy of fight of the decade in my view.

Corrales-Castillo I, Vazquez-Marquez II or III and Somsak Sithchatchawal-Mahyar Monshipour were the most memorable action fights, but I'd suggest 2 overlooked boxing matches on the higest skill level:

Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Marco Antonio Barrera
    Joe Calzaghe vs. Mikkel Kessler

    These are hugely overlooked fights.

The scoring and Nady ****ing up the knockdown ruined it for me. Could have been truely great had the judges not been paid off.

Tough call between some of 'em, but I went for Morales-Barrera I. Just.

Corrales-Castillo I, with Vasquez-Marquez III being runner up.

Morales-Barrera I was the greatest fight of all time so obviously its the best of the decade.

Corrales-Castillo I had a better finish to it but the skill factor makes the EM/MAB fight better for sure.

Disappointing to see Corrales-Castillo leading TBH.

You cant put it in front of a classic war like EM/MAB I for those reasons, thats just wrong.

Morales-Barrera in their primes going at it gave at least as much entertainment & drama as those fights + they are simply on a higher level technically.... to me, thats thee perfect blend to make a great fight.

How anyone can pick 3 from that list & NOT have `Campeon v Campeon` in there is mesmerising.

Vasquez-Marquez III for me, narrowly over Barrera-Morales I.

Great thread, great choices, but I really do not think Lewis-Klitschko belongs in there. There have been many better fights than that one.

    Really?

I was not terribly excited even the first time I saw that bout. I think their second effort was superior.

    How 'bout Cherry v. Burton?
