i have a question for you nonito donaire fans and critics?

i believe that too. im just surprised that many ppl seem to think donaire has not been doing **** because of his own fault and fail to weigh other considerations such as his promoters problems and all.

 

i believe so. he should be. he is a skilled boxer puncher, the kind that gets so much love from boxing fans and pundits of the sweet science

 

The only thing I blame DOnaire for is staying at flyweight too long. He spent a whole year waiting for the Jap belt holders to fight and unify with him but its clear none of them want anything to do with him. He should of moved up after the Hussein fight got cancelled.

 

Donaire's soo overrated. Really pisses me off.

 

It might be his fault, or his team, or his promoter, it doesn't actually matter.

He should have cash-in right after that Darchinyan fight, instead he fought names nobody has heard (except perhaps, those fighters' relatives and friends.):yep

With his talent and his exciting style, he should have done atleast one big fight against a named fighter by now. Mijares, Montiel, Castillo, even top 5 fighters in those divisions.

Wasting his time? Obviously.

to be honest i was kind of shocked how he disposed of martinez and the guy was 24-0. he knocked martinez with a wicked uppercut/hook in the very first round.

if managed well, this guy will go places. in my opinion, he should not be managed by his wife because professional and personal concerns don't really mix well in my opinion.

 

I dont blame Donaire in the slightest for his lack of huge fights. Just like I dont blame Darchinyan for the lack of a rematch.

I think they both demonstrate just how much influence a bad/self interested promoter can be.

115- Vic did a demolishion job. Obliterated the who's who @ 115.

 

donaire was willing to move up to 115 and fight montiel last january but montiel could not make the 115 limit..

plus, give the guy some break for his honeymoon

 

If Arum is any good at his job he should have informed Nonito that the IBF title is not recognised in Japan and Japanese fighters very rarely unify.

Really he needed that title to justify being on the some of the cards he was on but at the same time by staying at flyweight he was missing out on what was going on higher up...He was in a bit of pickle.

Im not so sure leaving Shaw was the best move..I understand why Nonito was playing hardball with him, but the fact is he was offered a fight on the undercard of the Kirolov-Vic fight..now if thats not giving him to opportunity to set up for the rematch Im not sure what is..Then he left for Arum.

It would be sad to see the politics and greedy side of boxing swallow up Donaire...Luckily I think is good enough to work through this as there is pretty much no one around 112-115 that will beat him...but he cant expect anymore things to come to him, he has to go chasing and so does Arum.

 

Those people are either uninformed or just plain hating, simple as that.

I hate how things have transpired for Nonito as well. I think he's something special and it's a shame that it seems like he's stuck in quicksand. Let's just hope things turn around for him. He better be staying sharp and ready in the meantime.

 

He is skilled.I like how he sharp shoot.Sets it up.
Then lands his punches.If you have your hands down and chin exposed Nonito will see it.THen it's too late he'll hit the target.He is a skilled counter puncher, drop your hand just a lil bit and he'll find it.

Maybe if you and your cohorts from the UK learn more about boxing, instead of crying and hating, you will see the skillz.This is why i believe you know **** all.He might be overrated you're maybe right.How come darchi ducked him for 2 years?

 

His last fight, I think, he just relied too much on his left.

He just waited for an opening all through out the fight, but he seems to be very predictable in that way. He would counter with his left, but that was it.

 

That's reason why he parted ways with Gary Shaw. He is being wrongly managed . . . plus he had a friction with his own father.

Let's see now that he has a new promoter.
