Macklin vs Barker at Alexander Palace on Sep 5th

    It certainly is, he was down twice(very hard) and on the verge of being stopped. He did really well to come back and box his way to a decision.
    McIntosh has a decent punch on him, but I'd be worried about Barkers chin at the highest level after that. Of course it's just one fight and it could just be nothing but it does make you think.

    It's one of the reasons I'd fancy Macklin to beat him because Macklin can really punch.

    Actually there is no such thing offiially, of the words Ally Pally spelled together (or Alley Palley) in a dictionary.... so I can spell it how I want.;)

    What? I was just trying to style out the fact that I don't know how to spell the shortend version of Alexander Palace.... that's all.:D

    For all I know I'm spelling Alexander wrong too.... spelling isn't my greatest skill you know, what you gonna do?:rasta

    It's in Crouch End, a great big cavernous space.

    No staggered tiers though so the further back you get the view gets poorer.

    Only been to gigs there though.

    Barker is kind of to small for a middleweight but theres no way he could get down to 154lbs.

    I don't think he would of been finished off by Moore in the same style if he could make that weight properly.

    barker is technical a sound fighter ...only concern is his chin.

    I see Maklin coming from behind with a big kockout!!!

    I see Barker outboxing him for the first few and then Maklin landing something huge!! I know Maklin can punch!! I mean the kid really can bang!!
