Bollox I forgot about this, I got the last 20 minutes of the show. It was great to hear Gary Mason, I always liked the gezzer, very good boxer and enjoyed his fights.

*The boxing hour on the radio is definitely a very good stopgap until the tv show.

:goodThing is, I actually had the 'pleasure' of being asked for programming ideas at the BBC's HQ in Bristol a few years back with a few others. They are actually scraping the barrel for original programming but come up short when a model is proposed! It's pathetic and sums up the beeb completely:-(.

Does ayone know anyone from the old Setanta production team who knows what the running costs were per 'Bunce Hour' episode? I only say it as we can start comparing it to other programming numbers on the beeb and other stations to 'the hour' to show how popular a show it was as well as what it would cost compared to less watched shows elsewhere. Maybe it could put some pressure on the BBC as well. Anyone?....

:goodThe more I think about it, the more we should lobby the beeb. After all, it's our network. Just take something crap off air that's never watched. We need to see BBC viewing numbers and compare them to the Bunce Hour and stick it on the campaign website and lobby the BBC.

Does anyone else seem interested though? Desperate times. To quote Ian Holloway, 'she's not the prettiest bird but we got her in the taxi'. The beeb might now be our only realistic bird. Do you wanna miss the taxi and end up with **** all? This is stupid- the punters want it for Christ's sake! Why is it so difficult to convince the networks?:patsch

we also need to make this boxing hour on the radio really big, i know we're dealing with the bbc here, but its a sneaky opportunity through the door, they can't argue facts so it might even make it to 5live or bb3 or something, overly optimistic but you never know (imagine a boxing style...whats the show called with the cars?)

thats why i stressed so much on more then just the interviews, it needs a lot more on the radio, have you listened to some of the US boxing radio shows?

    EDIT: *top gear

Sorry, but Bunce said podcasts will start in September.

Why the **** can the BBC not just record it and put it up? I mean it can't be that difficult.

Edit: Losfer beat me (for once ;)) to it.
