Shouldnt Abraham and Kessler just fight ?

This tournament is useless. Bute cant fight Kessler or Abraham in next 2 years. Who needs this **** ?

lol at how highly ranked Kessler is.

Yet you find people say Joe is overrated all the time?

The only good thing about this tournament is that Kessler can get 3 loses and makes Joe look bad :D

Hmm. After the first match ups how they will match remaining three guys in six man tournament.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to have 4 or 8 man tournament?

Anyway King Arthur will conquer Super middleweights in this tournament.

Here is how I rank em coming in

    1. Abraham-A proven winner who will be stronger at 168
    2. Kessler-Fine fighter, natural 168 will be very tough to beat.
    3. Ward-The spoiler, can really make a name for himself, good power, fantastic speed, and skills
    4. Froch-Solid but he can be out-boxed
    5. Taylor-Naturally huge but lacking in skills even at this point in his career
    6. Dirrell-Fast but unproven and facing a monumental step up in class

Depending on the match ups,but at first glance Kessler seems to lead the way.He has a manditory coming up which goes to purse bids shortly,so when he will actually be available is up to conjecture.

ESPN is reporting that they have a copy of the master contract, which stipulates that "[c]ontractually, mandatory bouts cannot interfere with a tournament fight."

I voted for Kessler but I really don't care who wins - I'm just happy, and pleasantly surprised, this seems to be happening.

I'm looking forward to seeing how good Dirrell and Ward are - it's admirable they're putting their undefeated records on the line so we can find out.

I think Abraham will be stronger at 168 (making 160 seems to be hurting him in his last few performances) so it's certainly possible he could win it, but I just think Kessler has the right style to beat him.

If these fighters take this tournament with this clause included it could be a HUGE step towards the fading away of ABC gangs...

-kesslers inactivity will be a factor as to how far he gets

-taylor will no doubt start strong but blow his wod as soon as pressure is applied, though i wouldnt be suprised if he makes it to the final(cut the **** with the stamina crap the guy went 24 rounds with hopkins,12 rounds with pavlik (in the last fight),12 rounds with lacy (albeit a shot version) and countless other times, he just cannot deal with pressure fighters so take your self denial and time of the month excuses and just deal with the fact your boy nearly got decapitated by a fighter he barely knew the name of

-froch undoubtedly the one to watch here,as always the underdog but my bets on him

-direll still a few ? as to how highly he should be regarded, should be the ultimate gauge of his ability this

    -ward ?

    -abraham nahhh
