    catch weights are dumb imo.

Fight at a weight class thats there.

Floyd should fight Marquez at 140 and Pac should fight Cotto at 147.

And Floyd should fight Pac at 140 so when he beats him there's no excuses.

Floyd shoudn't drop weight for anybody, he very much walks around at that weight anyway, and he isn't chasing nobody anyways, he's the "prey"

Well I've had two sources say he walks around at 155 and he stated himself that he walks around at 147 because he fights at 147.

He's cut 9lbs to make weight before. I think he can easily do it again.

Although the catchweight with Marquez isn't as bad as Pac's with Cotto.

Going up is easier than going down.

So then how do you explain De La Hoya/Hopkins for all 4 160-lb titles at a limit of 158?

To be honest the catchweight stuff is BS, all the way around, a guy like Cotto shouldn't have to drop a pound for Pacman, everybody knows Cotto is already starched at 147 anyways, and if Cotto does it and gets KTFO, it'll be his own damn fault!!!!!!

I think 145 is the limit Cotto can go down. It might be too much.

One of the classic catch-weight fights was Ray Leonard's sham win over
Donny Lalonde at 168 lbs for the SMW & LtHvy titles.
