but i have insomnia and i had to do somethin to pass the time.

BOXING legend Muhammad Ali will visit Britain next month to bid his fans a final farewell.

Ali, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, was told by doctors he will soon not be well enough to fly.

He will make appearances at dinners held in his honour in London, Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester, which will raise money for charity.

Ali, 67, said: "The UK is very close to my heart," adding that he wanted to "say goodbye in person to such a wonderful country and to all my friends and fans here".

The former world heavyweight champion, who will meet up with PR man Max Clifford, will also visit Ricky Hatton's gym in Manchester.
It will be Ali's first UK visit since 1999. He came to Britain in 1963 and 1966 to fight Henry Cooper.

So Hatton has found a comeback opponent he can beat then - possibly.

But seriously...Ali was the man who got me interested in boxing. The first fight I saw live was his loss to Leon Spinks.
The man is a living legend and will always be a hero of mine.
His cheaky grin and infectious personality is what set him aside from all the others.
His illness is shocking and proves that life is, as they say, a total and utter *****. When he is gone he will be sorely missed by many.

I am going to try and get over to see him in person in Manchester.

    LEGEND :thumbsup

My favourite boxer of all time - I am stuck in two minds if I actually want to attempt to see him, because whilst it would be great I think I would be too sad to see him as he is now and not as the Ali that I watch on film and remember.

im definitly going to try and see him. It would be abit sad but i have heard Ali is still a nice funny guy and hes an inspiration imagine meeting him or shaking the hands that made him great. To big of chance to see your hero mate grasp it in both hands, im sure hed love to see a younger fans like me and you (who wasnt alive when he was fighting just too see how much he has inspired people)

hed get crowds wherever he went, even if he went to Antartica im sure there would be a huge crowd

probably the were all one country to yanks.

Tickets would be amazing im intrested aswell
