Adamek, Steve Cuningham, The big Truck Braithwaite, Ben Flores Guillermo Jones etc. These are good Cruiserweights. But the Division realy has alot of Bums for example you have Maccarenelli, Palacios, etc. What is up with that..For example Palacios has an unblemished record who has he fought? can't realy think of a good name huh? So of course he has a great record on Paper. Maccarenelli is already to me my opinion finished..The most I can say is that the cruiserweights has had there share of greats but now its a low class division. This weekend unsure where they are supposed to fight Cunningham and The Big Truck are gonna fight. That should be a good fight. But really count how many cruiserweights that give good shows there are about 6 good fighters in the Cruiserweight Division. I say this .. some of these guys need to ether move up like Haye or Move down or even Get out. Since Haye moved up there is realy no explosive fights .. There was one a while back.. Also Bell needs to stop being so damn lazy. And to me that guy Palacios who is he ? I really never seen any of his fights I think there is one I think is on you tube..wow big screen. I looked him up his amateur career wasnt nothing impressive..I feel he is just a front guy. I see his record and Looked at who he has fought .. Lawrence chapman (bum), Luis Pineda-(Bum).,Harvey Jolly (who) Zack Page-(yawning).. Louis Azille old guy 38 yrs. old. and now he supposed to fight Manu Ntoh 41 yrs old ..what the hell is that .. I just feel that cruiserweight boxing is becoming sorry.. I Live in Miami and I cannot stand whats going on .. The cruiserweights was one of the best divisions but slowly it is becoming like the WWE entertainment .. bring on the Big show and John Cena.. thats just my opinion,,Hey Adamek, USS, BIG TRUCK, FLORES clear out all these bums from your division make room for some competition in your division....and lets say bye bye to all these bums.... a real cruiserweight fan

    Agreed.

Also, Dawson is the bigger man, so he may benefit better on fighting at 200lbs than Adamek.

Anyway, as good as this fight would be, there is no point in discussing it right now as Adamek has several interesting names he is pursuing and Dawson hasn't given up on 175lbs just yet.

There is no chance at all that Dawson will step into a ring with Adamek again, particularly if the fight is north of 175 lbs.

At least not until Adamek starts getting up to that Glenn Johnson, Tony Tarver age range.

This has been said before but I'll say it again: 4 months or so after the Dawson fight, Adamek fought again. He weighed like 24 lbs. more than he did for the Dawson fight. He was ripped, he KO'd or TKO'd his opponent. Anyone that ever thought that Roy Jones blew it by losing weight for Tarver should talk with Adamek.

Even though Adamek was on fumes, he still knocked Dawson down. After watching the Cunningham and Banks fights, why on earth would Dawson want to fight a larger Adamek who could easily whack him out?

I wish the fight could get made, but it will never be made. Adamek should never, ever think about fighting at 175 again and Dawson should just take what is easily the best win of his career and not risk tarnishing it, and possibly getting KO'd, by moving up to fight Adamek above 175.

What you fail to realize is that Dawson is a stylistic nightmare for Adamek. He schooled Adamek in that fight. Adamek was frozen by Dawson's speed and stance it was clear as day to see he didn't have an answer for it.:deal. If he fought Dawson again even at a catch weight say 185 he would still face the same problems but against a much batter Dawson who would still beat him to the punch and attack him from all angles with combos and be gone before he can react.

BTW didn't you say Diaconu was the truth and Dawson was running scared of him? Didn't you say Dawson would never fight Johnson again as well?

I want to see the rematch too, just to watch Dawson beat Adamek with no possible excuses.

People wantd to see Toney-Jones 2 happen for the same reason..it would put all the weight-drain talk to rest. Bad Chad would win at 185 pounds make it happen

Adamek needs to rematch Steve Cunningham. If Adamek doesnt get those knock downs, Steve wins that fight widely. He was fortunate VERY fortunate to win that fight.

Dawson would school Adamek from any weight 175-190 easy.
He KO'd a few bums. Steve Cunningham gave him fits, and if it werent for the knockdowns we wouldnt even be talking about Adamek. He was lucky to win that fight particularly with how he got outboxed down the stretch.
A flash knockdown nothing more. Every time Adamek tried to press his advantage in the fight he got hurt. Watch round 11 around 1 minute mark, when Adamek tried to press Dawson against the ropes, he got rocked and retreated across the ring.

Or better yet, let's pretend 3 seperate knockdowns didn't happen, give Steve his belt and call Adamek a dirty fighter, for using his power instead of relaying on the number of punches thrown.

Ok there. Let's examine Dawson's fights. Old grandpa Johnson put Dawson on his bicycle and your boy still needed some charity from the judges. A CW Adamek KO's this glass jaw in less than 6 rounds, easily.

Also, you say that Adamek has been facing bums? In fact Adamek has been a much more active and successful fighter since that fight then Dawson has.

 Yeah sure. Or he gets his ass whipped like he did in the first fight.

If not for the flash KD, it was very possible that Mcgirt was going to stop the fight because of the absolute pounding he was taking in there.

Oh and there is no way you should score that fight for Johnson. I scored it 6-6 draw and I gave every close round to Johnson.

As I said, Adamek and his fans should be thinking about rematching Cunningham. Who he was very fortunate/lucky to beat. Not a guy who dominated him.

    Bull ****!

Steve had no answers for Adamek's pressure and hit him with everything but the kitchen sink--and Adamek still pressed forward and stalked him.

Cunningham honestly sounds scared of Adamek.

If they fight again, Adamek wins inside the distance.

I would actaully put money on Johnson to beat Adamek if they ever fought. Adamek isnt the kind of fighter that would give Johnson many problems, he is too inactive as a fighter. Johnson would eat him up.

dude wtf are u talkin about i guess YOU havent seen the fight , adamek was never really hurt during that bout, so why the fak they would stop it? , he just got outboxed but thats it

oh and im not gonna comment the "cunningham would win the fight if he wasnt put on his arse 3 times" sentence

cuz its not really worth it, its just laughable
