    Pac wants Cottos title.

That sounds to me like Pac is challenging Cotto.

If he doesn't. Then Cottos title should not be on the line.

So what's the problem then. If the fight is at 145 Pac is giving away 5 pound from his best weight and Cotto 2 pounds.

Sounds fair to me? (although in my opinion fair would be BANG in the middle 143.5)

Look, we don't want to see Pac fight anymore Dlh type fights where the other guy was drained. PAc had his money fight...ok.

Seeing Dlh looking emaciated at 147 was not PAc's fault, but that memory is still in the fans memory, and seeing Pac asking Cotto to come in at 143 reminds fans of the idea of how bad catch weights can be at times. We don't want to see PAc fight Floyd at a catch weight nor fight Cotto at 143. We just want to see PAc in a fight with a man who will fight him back, and we have not seen that in 3 fights from the so-called best pfp fighter alive...according to his fans.

Why don't they have the fight at 147 and then have a weight limit on how much Cotto can bloat himself?

This whole thread is for ****.

The fight will get made. Either he will decide to fight Pac at 145 - or whatever - or he will fight his #1 contender, or a different voluntary.

You guys want to debate if it is moral or something. What ****ing planet are you living on??

Because at 145 Cotto is pushing his body limits. His nutritionist said so.

If Pac wants Cottos title, fight him at 147.

Because Cotto only weighs 158ish on fight night.

No one was telling Pac to limit how much he puts on when he was fighting at 130 and 135. He was putting on 12-15lbs at that weight.

Pac is the cash cow; he calls the shots.

De La Hoya, Sugar Ray Leonard, Mayweather did the same thing.

    Or don't fight him.

Your post seems to suggest that it is up to Pacquiao to make sure that Cotto doesn't push his bodies limits (according to his nutritionist).

The lower the weight the more drained Cotto will be. The higher the weight the slower and more sluggish Pac will be. It goes both ways.

The fight needs to be FAIR for both sides. It seems most people want to see Manny Pacquiao on the crap end of the deal.

    This.

Nobody at 147 has to fight Pacquiao.

    He's not a mandatory.

    No.

They agreed on 145. Or Roach and Cottos team did.

Now Pac says he wants 143 after knowing Cottos team said 145 was the limit.

    Come on..

Pac said recently that he wants 143 or no fight. **** him, no fight. Cotto can move on while Pac has no big money options. The fight has not been made for that reason-143.

Then Cotto pullls out, and that would be fine.

Or Cotto makes 143, and I would understand that too.

    No thats false.

Pacquaio has limited himself to weighing under 150. When he fought DLH he weighed 149.

When he fought Hatton. He weighed 148. Pac isn't going to add anymore weight.

147 is fair for both. Both fighters at 100%

    With a 10lb different.

Floyd Mayweather who weighs LESS than Pacquaio would be giving up the same weight Pac is. Why dont you make post defending him?
