5-7. It wouldn't surprise if Haye tried to use his speed to just punch and move-however he won't be able to hide forever and in addition he likes to mix it up and exchange-thus his not going to change his habits, instincts for one fight.

:goodgood analysis. the desperation is how i see it. i think haye is gonna spar a lot of tall, awkward heavies but realize quickly that vitali is quite a different breed, age aside. haye'll get discouraged early and steer away from any gameplan, getting lazy and assuming his (overrated) power can get him out of it. it won't and he'll be picked off for it. it's a shame: physically he has some tools to make it a fight and his smaller size could be an advantage if he used it properly. he'll either be so eager to prove himself and get the knockout he'll go the easy and sloppy route or he'll ineffectively try to flurry in and out after getting scared SHITLESS in the first round

VK will find that he's fighting a truly elite boxer for the first time since Lewis. Equally, this is the best fighter Haye has ever fought.

ESB has really fcuked me off with this fight. Bias is one thing, but if people just watched these guys on a regular basis, they'd realise that this is the first truly great heavy fight in prospect for about six years.

Haye = elite fighter. VK = elite fighter.

VK vs Haye = great fighters having the balls to fight.

Haye lasts all 12 and wins by decision. Vitali is nowhere near as quick as he used to be and will have trouble dealing with Haye's speed. Haye won't just stand in front of him like Peter and Gomez did; he will create angles. It will be interesting how Vitali deals with Haye's vast speed advantage as he hasn't faced anybody as quick in 6+ years.

If Vitali were in his prime he would KO Haye.

I dont see Haye going 12 either. The extra weight will be tough and the punishment that Vitali gives over time will take a lot out of Haye.

I just dont see it going 12

Already have. This fight is a mismatch. Bad style match up for Haye. He does not have the speed or power his fanboys say he does at Heavyweight. I think Mr. Haye will realize very quickly he is not in there with Monte Barrett or Enzo Macarinelli.

He has just about as much speed at this weight, and power. He holds a huge speed advantage over Vitali. Generally, speed kills old past their prime fighters.

That's what I thought too, but I chose to ignore it because it was Skull****, and par for the course from him.

there's being an elite fight and being an elite fighter AT heavyweight. i'm excited for the fight and i think haye has the skills to make it one to remember. what i doubt is that he'll use those skills properly

Vitai is not as old or past his prime as people are saying. This is a Sonny Liston vs Floyd Patterson situation. If you don't understand that I can't help you. There were people on here writing essay's on how he was going to lose to Gomez who is taller and had a longer reach than Haye and was a Southpaw. I did not happen. There is not one fighter in the World today that can beat Vitali Klitschko.

First) Sonny Liston was younger than Vitali and is a much better fighter. If YOU can't understand that, then I can't help you. Liston-Patterson is different stylistically than Klitshcko-Haye.

Second) Almost nobody was picking Gomez so I don't know what you are talking about.

Third) Haye is levels above old blown up Gomez. Haye is faster, brings more power, better overall movement and creates more angles.

That's true, Chef, but the problem for Haye is that he has a "one-punch" kind of chin, especially at HW.

Hide was pretty durable as a cruiser. Not so much at HW. Barrett was hurting Haye and he wasn't even landing clean shots much of the time.

The biggest upset to me is if Haye lasted 12 rounds. Even with VK's age, that would surprise me about as much as a Haye win via KO/TKO.

There's no one in the world, including Wlad IMO, that is a worse match-up for Haye than VK. Even at 38.
