What are you talking about? Read the thread. I believe Gatti was actually a B fighter not C. He did win two titles at two different weights. It was a great fight and I disagree with a poster earlier saying you have to be a great fighter to be in a great fight. So wrong.

I understand what you saying but for me i just don't feel like greatest of all times when 2 fighters like gatti and ward are not very good fighters. Very good to great fighters that most bring great fights could be said as an all time greats like Barrera vs Morales 1, Corrales vs Castillo 1, Mayweather vs Hatton, Lewis vs Vitali, Tua vs Ike ( both imo were very good fighters), Leonard vs Hearns 1, Hearns vs Hagler, Chavez vs Taylor, Bowe vs Holyfield 1, Marquez vs Vazquez, Morales vs Pacquiao 1, Ali vs Frazier 3 and so on and so on. <<<<<I'm not saying all were all time greates but if anyone said one of these fights is one of all time great fights i wouldn't complain. It just my opinion.
You miss understand what i was saying. I said more then once that Gatti vs Ward 1 was indeed a great fight.

How can anyone not appreciate Gatti vs Ward 1? It was easily a great fight. I was disappointed in the 2nd fight cause Gatti was doing more boxing moving around instead of going toe 2 toe. The 3rd fight was like the 1st one.
the 2nd fight is why it's not rated as the best triology of the last 30 years and marquez/izzy is. it's a decent fight but the only amazing part was ward fighting on with a busted eardrum. the 1st and 3rd are fights of the year without question
Matter of opinion. No use going to war over which was most exciting. Just state your pick and accept that others will disagree... then move on. Namecalling on this matter is pointless.
The things that happened in that fight and the way in which they happened were magical. It was a religious experience live.
