The hate for Floyd is so extreme, they TRY to argue your post. To give them the benefit of the doubt, those STFU and similar responses are normally given and accepted(from what I have seen) when someone posts something completely idiotic.

Because Floyd gets very little respect on here, any pro-Floyd posts is seen as idiotic so will receive a similar response.

 

Because this man is praised for doing nothing. You can say he's gone up 5 weight classes, but it really isn't that hard if you're fighting at your walking weight. Plus before Cotto and Clottey showed up there was no one really tough in the WW division except for Mosley, so he was basically taking the easier route.

He went up five weight classes by bulking up. You see in his first fight vs. Castillo he weighed 138, so he wasn't walking around at 147 back then. And he fought the champs of the welterweight division and beat them. I guess your going to say he shouldn't have done that.

 

Floyd fought the best at 130. He fought the best at 135, and he wanted the best at 140, (Cotto's people said no" and Floyd did not want to fight several WW's. He's paid his dues. Floyd only wants money fights. When Floyd won the title at 147, the division still had like 4 to 5 guys who still had not established themselves as the number 2 ww. It is not Floyd's fault, and Pac didn't fight the best at 135 or 140 either.

Yeah, but you ***tards have an excuse as to why PAc didn't fight Valero or guzman at 130, Campbell at 135 or take on Bradley at 140 right now. PAc wants to fight Cotto at 143. Cotto wants 145, and Shane says it doesn't matter, I'll take the fight.

 

Floyd was a natural 130lber. But as he moved up in weight, he's added some muscle which can clearly be seen if you look at physique now versus from 8-10yrs ago.
He doesn't need an excuse for not fighting Margarito, Cotto, Mosley. He fought Baldomir for the WW championship, which lead to the richest fight in boxing history with DLH. Arum said Cotto was too green to fight Mayweather. And Mosley ducked Mayweather by saying he wanted to go on trips and that his tooth hurt.

 

So if he had to "bulk up" then why is it he is trying to catch weight marquez or move him up to 147??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

If he only had to "bulk up" then I would think mayweather could move down to fight marquez instead of making marquez move up...

There is much reasoning being this statement. When a fighter gains attention beyond the "prospect" level, people begin to question their greatness or talent. Even Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson are still found to have people doubt their records and achievements. This is the life of anyone in the spotlight. We can post many comments about Floyd being great, sheer talented and an awesome asset to boxing, however there will be ten more posts denouncing our words. Floyd fought great people in their prime and opponents who others barely beat or we destroyed in attempting to fight. Floyd called out Shane, Cotto and De La Hoya...we forget that. Before he fought Baldomir, Zab, Corrales and to some Ricky Hatton, he was destined to lose and was biting off more than he can chew. These were what they said but however, now they are adding negative words to each fight he has had. Keep posting positivity logically, the "haters" will only keep coming to do their job.
