Who else here think that Roy Jones, Jr just deserved the beating..

...except for that Jones was beating/even with Joe until the cut. Which came from a punch at a very strange angle.

Once Roy couldn't see things changed and Joe taunted him. Let's not forget the first few rounds though.

If Joe pulled that **** against a near-Prime Roy he would have been KTFO.

it was close in the early going cause of the knockdown and calzaghe's "caution" (aka being a chicken ****). i was in the fourth row and jones had nothing left in speed or reflexes and knew it; he was just waiting for counter opportunites and you knew it wasn't gonna last forever

 

It was a shame to see a great get beat like that, but it's not like I feel really sad for him. He did the same to loads of people.

A prime Joe without ****ed up hands could have put full power into his shots, thus probably would've put Glass Roy into a mini-coma.

Calzaghe is a tool.

He tried to convince people Jones was still good when he knew he was shot, then acted like a complete dick during the fight. The showboating was complete overkill.
