They have the right to weigh 147 they dont have to but they have the right.

When you limit that to 145 you no longer have the right.

we're beating our heads against the wall here. The *******s will defend this bull**** until the end of time.

Whats funny is I could just imagine their outrage if say if a scenario unfolded where JMM was the only viable option for Pac, and JMM said "132 or no fight", and the fight was for JMM's 135 titles. I can hear it already......... lol

JMM is a punk....hes just trying to weaken pac!!
Its a lightweight title fight, so it should be at 135!!
    etc.....etc.....etc........lololol

Why should Cotto have to come in at 145, if a pound doesn't make a difference then?

It's a laughable scenario but it's remote that it will happen. Pac and JMM has no glaring disparity in build. For practical reasons, JMM will take the fight at any weight whether 135, 140 or 147. Fail!

As per experience in the boxing world, anything that is agreed upon in negotiation and approved by the sanctioning bodies is a true WW (or any weight) fight. This does not apply to Pac's case only, it applied to countless title fights that are held in catchweights. It depends on the current stature of the boxers. Whether you consider it real or fake title or not, it does not really matter? Why raise a howl now when these catchweights have been happening since the early days of boxing.

Thats why i hate negotiations. Anyway, im sure that these people knows what they're doing since its has been happening for a long time, and if it was a stupid idea, im sure it would have stopped along time ago. Negotiations, it's having to compromise..sacrifice.

Look, nobody wants to see Cotto weakened trying to make 145. You guys say it's only two lbs-Cotto won't be weakened, yet if it doesn't matter, then why not have the fight at 147?:huh

    Because I dislike catchweights.

Specially when Pac who is going to gain his 7th title from it when its not even a legit title fight.

    False history.
