and pac stays in shape too. he is an active fighter year round and plays basketball when not in training.

skinny guy in person actually. i just can't understand why some people here think pac is like fatton during the offseason who balloons by about 20-30 pounds north of his weight.

you dont count because you care NOTHING about whats best for the sport. You're just a pac fan. He will be gone in a year or 2, and so will you. Call it elitist if you want, but im just not a short-term thinker...........

Correction, my friend, Cotto was not being forced to go down at 145. 145 is his own voluntary suggestion based on his nutritionist's recommendation. As reported previously, 145 was accepted by Roach. Since negotiations are being done by both parties, I don't think it is right to accuse anyone of bad faith, money driven or greed. This is a bilateral action not unilateral negotiation. Cotto proposed and was accepted. What's wrong with it?

we all have rights. pac and cotto have the right to fight at 145.

we all have the right to watch this fight live or via ppv.

for the haters, you have the right to boycott this fight at 145.

exercise your rights man. don't watch the fight, and please along the way. can these people shut up. we are trying to enjoy the show.

Is this fight taking place at 145 or 143? Not that it really matters. Either way, someone's gonna be disadvantaged - if that wasn't the case both parties wouldn't have discussed it at all - thus proving once again that catchweights aren't fair at all, but instead blur things and hurt fighters. People who claim 2lbs aren't important are obviously very, very wrong.

Are you calling me a ******* because I disagree w/ you, Mr. Caretaker? What is a ******* in ESB, btw? You are supposed to be respectable individual who claims to be the Caretaker of boxing. Your namecalling does not help your credibility. Even your knowledge of boxing is actually is suspect.

I've been watching boxing for so long a time, Mr. Caretaker. I can still remember the Vito Antuefermo and Marvin Hagler fight. This video got me interested me in boxing. Pacquiao came later when he was still a gangling kid in the 90s.

man, no one prevents you from buying a car at a discount as long as the dealer agrees to it. that is the essence of a contract.

pac and cotto agreeing to fight at 145 is but an exercise of their right to practice their profession. that is why they have a boxing license and we posters do not.

freedom of expression. freedom to practice their profession.
