It's absolutely safe to say that Abraham will go into the second half of every fight trailing by several rounds, and will need to put a beating on his opponent for the last 6 rounds, or possibly need to score a come from behind KO to win. This should be very convincing fights, and Abraham really needs to show something exceptional to get the win vs. all the better attributes his opponents will bring into the ring. All of them dwarf him in reach and size, so there is literally no excuse whatsoever if AA keeps winning.

Dawson: Could he make weight in SMW ???

Pavlik: Is he interested in going up to SMW ???

Bute: Has he ever shown any interest in stepping up, do you ever hear him calling out anybody. Would he fight outside Canada. Also would he represent Romania ???

With Froch and Kessler you have the two topranked in SMW, so the winner of the 6 would be top dog at SMW...And im sure with the guts the 6 boxers are showing, they would also be ready to go to Canada...

Pusslik is occupied with fighting Jim Beam and the mean punching Jack Daniels, and Dawson is a LHW weighting some 182 in the ring, what the **** would he do in a SMW tournament ? Fight at a catchweight of 174.5 ? Good job in throwing some random names out there just to discredit a good tournament and get Pusslik back into godmode (Pusslik KO2 World).

Good question. I found no info on Showtime or on boxen.com (Sauerland). It's a big announcement, but not THAT big it seems to be broatcasted live. It's just a press conference.

There is a press release on the Showtime site. Nothing new in it.

Abraham TKO9 trailing wide: Taylor will just not take that ones punches well

Dirrell UD: judged from video, seems to be very fast, good eye, will probably not allow Froch to plant and throw

Ward UD: I first picked Kessler by TKO (cuts), but Ward is good too, albeit a bit wild; probably, he is the guy to capitalize on Kesslers inactivity and rust, so I took Ward for the upset

If Kessler comes in sharp he will win, but I think that waiting for so long just sitting on the cardio cycle will give him rust he cannot shake off quick enough.

Dirrell seems to be someone making a stinker out of a fight throwing disturbing hands only, but fast ones. When Taylor can outbox Froch easily for 10 rounds, why not Dirrell, who is also a mover who doesn't stand still.

However, the intrigueing of this tournament is that NOTHING is certain, they all have their pros and cons, and everyone can win fights.

Ooops, forgot the usual disclaimer: Yes, Pavlik would walk through anyone of those without breaking a sweat, with one arm behind the back, not losing a round, but he is that good that just thinking of him having to prove it is sheer blasphemy, so he has every right in the book to save his energy for more important things, like, washing his car, or, washing his trunks.

Lets hope that this is the start of boxing's comeback.

Every division should follow the SMW's lead and ditch the alphabet titles to find one champ per weight class.

    So excited about this.

I bet Froch is creaming his pants at the chance of being recognised as undisputed champ (think he's gonna be disappointed TBH) but I really like the arrogant ****er and love that he will think he's favourite.
