:rofl:rofl Sorry..but you got to do more than just win a tournament...He needs to unify the division and have a couple of defense for him to even make a case about being the greatest super middleweight.

There's no chance that's going to happen so why bother asking.

Give me a reason why Froch doesnt overtake Calzaghe?

Beating, Abraham,Kessler,Dirrell, Taylor, Pascal possibly ward

is far better comp than Calzaghe...im sure Froch could pad his record with a few Salems and face Viet twic in 2 weeks?

Frochs won a couple of big fights, and proved against Taylor he's never beaten till the last bell. He's no great though, and has a long way to go before being spoken of in the same breath as the true greats of the division.I'd love to see him clean up the division, but he has a lot to prove to cynics like myself.

Hell no, first off he isnt going to fight all the fighters, secondly Dirrell and Ward are really nothing more then contenders that hasnt proved that they are elite fighters yet. yes they have a ton of talent and many see great things for them in the furture but they havent done it yet. Kessler is over rated, Abraham has only fought once at the weight I believe. There will have to be much more work to go after wards for anyone that wins if they want to be called the GOAT at the weight.

If ANYONE in the tournament is able to sweep by convincingly beating all five other fighters, they will have a pretty decent argument that they're the top SMW of all time. There is no other super middleweight out there with five wins that good at super middleweight.

Winner may need to fight all five fighters. They fight three each in the round robin, then there's semifinals and finals, and I'm sure Showtime will do their best not to have rematches unless the first fight was hotly contested.
