lol Maskaev wasnt a joke dude...

if that guy had a chin he would pwn almost everybody for sure. Same thing as Golota with a Brain or Froch with skills ( :yea )

    Maskaev was the man. 8)

I am leaning towards Oleg to TKO Arreola.

When I read where Goosen said Arreola would fight a former world titleholder (partial champioin), I thought they might mean Oleg.....and it seems that may well be the case.

Good matchup, if it happens. Go, Oleg.

Maskaev is over the hill, but Arreola isnt the one who retires Oleg for good.

If Maskaev survives the first 3-4 rounds he has a decent chance to either outpoint the fat American or knock him out in the later rounds when Arreola is totally out of puff and not focused anymore.

55/45 in favour of Arreola for me, based mostly on age. Depends on how rusty Oleg is.. he looked pretty bad against Sam Peter but one thing that must be noted is that Oleg hits like a truck and did land and stun Sam Peter a few times and Arreolas chin is not made of the same stuff as Sam Peters, also Oleg may be slow but he still can box well.

The streets must be full of a bunch of drunk ass winos because this fight would be a horrendous waste of time. :-( Basically an exact repeat of Arreola - McCline.

This would be a small step foward for Arreola. Maskaev is well past his best but can still punch and has a ton of experience. He has some name value and Arreola should roll right over him. I don't think Oleg will beat Arreola but he might be able to give us a better idea about Arreola's chin. Smart fight for Arreola and if it comes off Arreola by ko in under 6 rounds.

Maskaev is pretty much shot at this point but he may have prolonged his career by not getting his wish to fight Vitaly. I don't think Cristobal will hurt him that bad but he needs to take this seriously if he wants to make a name for himself so he can get that deal as pitchman for Taco Bell.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and bet on Maskaev. McCline looked like he was still in retirement when he climbed in the ring against Arreola and still got a couple of shots in before he pulled his "folding like a lawn chair" act. I know Maskaev is old and slow but Arreola just doesn't have a resume in HW division that impresses me. I'll go for ring generalship and heavy handed Maskaev watch out in the front row :scaredas:

Arreola by KO, if Maskaev had trouble with Peter, he'll have trouble against Arreola who fights similar to Peter.

You people in the front row............... You ordered one obese Mexican, coming right up!

    WHOOM!

Oleg will beat the overrated, undisciplined Arreola, certianly.

HUm...i'm surprised...a lot of people picking Maskaev.
I don't get it. Arreola may be flabby, but he is not a bum. Maskaev is done. Early ko (4-5 round) for Arreola. Maskaev would be all over the place.
