You know, you may want to read cdnboxing's posts. He's often very critical of MMA, but his discussions are intelligent and well thought out.

You MMA haters who have to resort to your ridiculous "gay sex" comments look like prepubescent schoolboys. Which sadly, I'm sure some of you are.

Axe Man seems to be turned on by fighting positions, especially when the combatants are both male. Axe Man finds a sexual comparison when both combatants are male. I have no problem with homo erotica. If that gets Axe Man on, that's his business. I just don't think it's fair to judge fights by what makes your dick hard, as it appears axe man does.

 

I don't find it completely embarassing. I'm sure many MMA fans don't. Sure, maybe some do, but don't assume it is just because you think it is.

Perhaps because I'm also a big boxing fan I don't feel it necessary to constantly compare the skills or pedigrees of the athletes in MMA, and how they differ from athletes in boxing.
I'm more worried about being entertained, and for the most part MMA/UFC does that for me.
I'm not going to lose any sleep at night because Brock Lesnar used to be a WWE wrestler, or that he's only had a handful of fights, or that he'd never be a good boxer, etc, etc.

I recognize why he's good at what he does, and I don't deny that many of the things you said about his abilities are true. But I'm OK with that and I think most MMA fans are too. In other words, no embarrassment necessary. I think that MMA haters are trying to project embarrassment onto us MMA fans in yet another attempt to discredit the sport.

 

You just run your mouth, I've actually boxed, golden gloves. I love boxing, but MMA is simply the better way of fighting; if one group of cavemen were boxers and one mma fighters, the boxers starve or get get beat to death.

You are just small minded and can't comprehend two great sports side by side. Football players can't fight, still a great sport, you just have a small mind. Can't hand mma becoming huge; boxing will never go away, but the world is more compelled by mma right now, and I will always produce better actually fighters, not boxers (which is fighting, just not all of it)

 

He's dropped Mir, Randy, and Herring with punches and rocked Randy with an elbow; that's not proof of power? What is? Him and Chuck are the only men to Ko Randy with a punch, Chuck not hit hard either? Brock is not textbook, he's effective, what matters more? Name one top level contender who wouldn't be in serious danger on the feet with Brock? Not k1 guys, real mma fighters, name one.


There are alot of reasons to dislike Brock as a person, but as an athlete there are zero, you just are too emotional to seperare the two.

 

So you think Lesner has a better record than Fedor? FFS, I've honestly never heard so much uneducated nonsense in all my life.

 

Where did I say anything half of a quarter of a third similar to saying his record is better than Fedor's Where? Show me exactly where. If you took "best athlete" to mean "best record" you don't know the difference of what athleticism is and how records have to do with more than athleticism; namely skill and fight selection.

You just dislike the guy because he is everything you can't be essentially. You let your womanly emotion get in the way of logic; he is the best HW in the UFC, easily, he is skilled, he hits hard, he has the best athleticism at HW, if not PfP; weather you like what he says after a fight changes none of that.

Go have your rag elsewhere.

Any "sport" where the majority of the fights involve two men pummeling each other in the missionary position is not something I'm interested in seeing.

Do you not get what "athletic" means? It does not mean the best.

Melvin Manhoef is 1000x times the athlete Damian Maia is, but Maia is the better fighter.

Athleticism is specific feats of performance: running, jumping, strength, balance. Nobody is more athletic in combat sports than Lesnar, if you disagree name somebody.

Your emoticons don't help the argument. You don't like the guy so you can't admit he is the most athletic fighter. I'm not saying hes a better fighter than Fedor, I'm saying hes more athletic. You are just too stupid to know the difference.

 

Anybody who sees the purest form of combat, the purest form of sport, the most direct way of inflicting physical damage to somebody you are trying to beat the **** out of as "gay" got ****ed by their stepdad and is a closet case.
