I think it was Bob Logist who gave Tito 3 of the first 4 rounds against De La Hoya then gave Oscar the 12th round. I think that alone suggests something dodgy was definitely afoot that night.
Doug Tucker http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=401571&cat=judge Scored Mijares-Navarro 120-108 for Navarro :huh

Robert Hoyle gives the odd crazy scorecard: Ngoudjo vs Urango - 106 - 120 (was close but clear not a shut out) De Leon Vs Escobedo - 118 - 110 (I had Escobedo that night he out box de leon easily) Forbes Vs Hopkins - 110 - 118 (I had Forbes in this thought it was terrible scoring)
Jose Juan Guerra 110-118 Leonard over Hagler! O.k. I know this has the ability to create hell and I apologise in advance. But how anyone could give that fight to Leonard by 8 rounds I'll never know. I had Leonard winning by 3 in a VERY close fight that could have gone either way but all the controversy comes from Guerra's card in my opinion.
Agreed. The ironic thing is that Guerra was only brought in because of an objection by the Hagler camp to one of the original judges.
According to some it was because he was British and Hagler hated British people because of the Wembley riot. (Though I tend tofind myself agreeing with those who suggest that Hagler believed a Mexican judge would appreciate his style more) However, Harry Gibbs watching the fight in England, scored it 116-114 to Hagler which, of course, would have been a split decision victory to him!
