And yeah Nancy Grace is as evil as it gets.

Then again maybe it's a good thing that she hasn't gotten a hold of the story. She's someone who clearly cares little to **** all about facts and would twist the story in so many different ways that it would only raise anger and hatred instead of the respect Gatti deserves.

I'll take the blame for that since I mentioned Liddell

 

Might be the case in certain circles, but from what I'm seeing (outside of ESB obviously), the Gatti death is being reported, but obviously not as much as MJ's for example, who was a much more famous person.

Other sports star deaths don't get much more publicity anyway, and Gatti was well-known in boxing but there are many boxers who are considerably more famous than him.

 

Still way too many people bashing MMA for no reason...which seems to be the ESB special anyways.

I wasnt trying to 'bash' MMA I was just trying to say that had it been anyone else from another sport (I choose MMA as a example) that it would have gottn more press but since boxing is not that big here in the states as it used to be that it does kind of show how even though he was murdered that next to no one cares.

 

Who gives a **** about mainstream? Arturo meant something to us.

 

The MMA forum here sticks to its own...and most MMA forums I go to stick to their own.

Boxing fans are usually the petty ones to drag it into a conversation for the sake of dragging it into a conversation.

If Boxing fans could drop the elitist mentality (and if you don't think we have one then you're not reading this forum), maybe we could get **** back to normal.

Dont you think that if this tragic murder had occurred in NY or in LA, and the investigation would happen in the US, it would get much more attention?

Same here I passed a Hooters a few days ago and they were showing Lesners last fight on PPV there since thats more or less the crowd that MMA gets.

I watch CNN and Fox and they really dont talk much about this, I was watching CNN yesterday and they are still taliking about MJ and how now they think the Nation Of Islam had him killed (can't we let the poor guy R.I.P. already?).
