Yes, though the Klit-ites will rase hell about this if you look at their resumes their just above being ****. The only reason they are 'domanante" is because this is the worst era for Boxing (Heavyweight's especialy).

    No its not.

Dempsey and Johnsons era was worse and so to was Louis's.

Just because the main men of today are not American does not constitute to a **** era.

I'm no fan of either of them but they're both underrated imo, especially Wlad. They bore the **** out of me and I don't think they're anything truly special but I believe their physical prowess, commitment and mentality would've seen them figure in any HW era... I'm not saying they would've been champs or beaten any 'greats', but no doubt they would've caused problems for most boxers throughout history. They certainly aren't rubbish as many fight fans and media outlets would have you believe.

How can they be overrated if you and most Americans don't rate them at all?

They are overrated through no fault of their own IMO. The competition is so weak. Nuthuggers view their exploits as massive regardless of the level of competition. I just wish there was a couple of Lewis's/Tysons/Foremans etc out there so we could gage how good they really are right now, but there isn't so we can't.

Americans and Brits think the Klits are overrated and the todays HW era is the worst ever (idiotic!). the reason for that is not knowledge but bitterness, due to the fact that Brits and Americans play absolutely no role in the picture....get a life....:D

The level of comp out there IS poor, it's got **** all to do with the Yanks and Brits. I want to see competative fights with exciting fighters regardless of nationality. The Brothers aren't taken into wars in there fights because the opposition isn't capable so they do what they have to knowing they won't be troubled and that makes for **** poor fights, FACT.

well maybe thats the case for Klitschko huggers and haters, but i don't like it either way

I guess the haters clump then together when its something bad, but get pissed when its something good. And the nuthuggers vice versa.

    I always treat them individually.

Considering the poor competition at HW, i'd have to say yes.

If no, just ask yourself this. How would they have faired against guys like Ali, Foreman, Liston, Tyson, Holmes, etc.....

The level of comp is not worse than in the Louis, Holmes or Tyson era. Guys like Chagaev, Povetkin, Gomez, Ibragimov are amateur heros, Olympic Gold Medalists or World Champions who know how to box. The fact that they aren“t americans or Brits makes them a gap lower in the Western hemisphere. Imagine the Klits would be americans....with american names.....they presumably would be in the Tiger Woods, Shaq, Lance Armstong league.
