Yeah i agree to certain extent but you listen to lot of fans and they see Taylor as this really unlucky guy that got robbed of a win by Froch.

I think also Showtime know he's a name and also Bute's tied up at the moment. I don't like way he spoke about Froch in the 3 video in this thread he going on as if Froch now's he got lucky to me there was no luck in it...it's 12 rounds and Jermain couldn't take Froch's punches for 12 rounds.

Nah man, Taylor can give some of these guys fits! What planet are you on!? He was seconds away from destroying this Froch hypemobile and probably wouldn't have been included himself in the 6. Taylor more than deserves a place.

You gotta remember that JT is still a huge name in the States (and everywhere else really) and is a coup for Showtime to have him in their tourney. A lot of casual fans in the States will never have heard of AA or Dirrell.

And besides, Taylor probably has achieved more than any of the other guys.

    Undisputed MW champion anyone?

Dirrell's gonna sell the Froch fight well i think. I'm looking forward to Kessler in U.S and Taylor in Berlin this could be his chance to redeem all that he's lost in the last 3 years.

:goodHe's a marquee name and I reckon if he sorts his conditioning out he can be a massive force in this tourney.

depends how u see it getting KO'd and thrashed in the championship rounds tells u how **** a champion u are Froch found his rythm late in the fight and it wasnt like taylor was winning by a landside before the stoppage

i'm glad this tournaments taking place but i'm still skeptical of the participation of some of the fighters but nothing can ever be perfect as already said
damaged goods imo theres no way mentally he could recover from such beatings

So damaged that he chose to take a rematch with Pavlik? So damaged that he chose to fight Lacy then Froch at a higher weight? The same guy that made Hopkins look ****? This guy has something about him. Foolish to write him off.

I know what your saying mate and i used to hate on JT but i got a lot of respect for the guy now because of what you just said. I just wondered what the Froch fights taken out of him. It wasn't a big one punch it was a accumulation. So i hope he comes back fresh and focused and delivers a great fight with King Arthur and i think being away from his comfort zone will help get the best from him.

the fights with hopkins are hard to score he never won any of those fights decisively i dont question is ability to come back from adversity, i'm pritty sure at this point in his HBO manufactured Career he's finished
