No more garbage business set up fight, fraud gayweather has bilked the public long enough with his horse**** handpicks and sham retirements. Boxing fans have to unite to floydcott all fraudweather fights until he fights Cotto, Pacquiao or Mosley.

We'll give him the Marquez handpick, but after that no more. this kind of handpicking could irreparably ruin the sport as we know it. Chad Dawson and other champs could imitate their careers on the fraudweather handpcking model.

fraud must not be rewarded for handpicking safe fights he knows he won't lose. he must be forced to fight the best at 147 - otherwise he should retire and leave the HBO dates and big purses to the true warriors who deserve it.

A floydcott must be organized and started now.

There's no WW tourney but WW opponents are in abundance . . . if he won't fight welters go down to 140 and unify there, so he won't be antagonized.

That being said, if there WAS a WW tourney, would Floyd be interested in joining?

I doubt it since the money wouldn't be enough.

I'm actually pretty excited to see the Marquez fight. A lot of questions will be answered regarding Marquez's ability to carry the weight, Mayweather's ability after a long layoff, how they adapt and adjust to eachother, and how well Marquez takes his punches.

After that, I can't really see Mayweather facing anybody but a Pac, Cotto, or Mosley. Very confident in saying that.

Yeah but would the money be enough? If Pavlik is calling the money in the SMW tourney "peanuts", what more for a bigger name like Floyd.

No such thing as a sure thing. Even though FMJ will be a heavy favorite, JMM might pull this off. As far as I can see, when people talk about the skill of FMJ, they're still looking at the FMJ of 2,3 4 or maybe 5 yrs. ago. I don't know how FMJ's body will react after a 2 yr. lay off. He can still be fit but come fight time, will he still have the same speed, stamina, timing, legs, power, like he used to?

We can all speculate but the bottom line is we won't know until he gets in the ring. IMHO, a Floydcott, as you say it, would not be good for boxing. FMJ will do what he wants regardless of what we say.
