'Bernard Hopkins: It was now time to crack America and Calzaghe decided to fight Hopkins who was regarded as one of the p4p best in the world, and even moved up in weight to make the fight happen/ Although Hopkins tried his best to stop the Calzaghe whirlwind, Calzaghe again was the victor as he outworked his opponent, who in the end was hanging on for dear life.'

To an objective viewer of that fight like myself, the incoherent, rushed and desperate rambling of instructions by Enzo to Joe before the twelfth round were of a man who was certain his fighter needed a knockout to win the fight.

The lack of enthusiasm the majority of boxing fans have for Joe Calzaghe makes him being the GOAT an impossibility. Being able to draw respect, admiration, and praise from the majority is as much a prerequisite of being the GOAT as it is having great boxing skills and a great win-loss record, the latter of which Joe Calzaghe does have.

Giving a boxer like Muhammad Ali the title of GOAT is an easy thing to do, given that he draws great praise and adulation from fans of all sports, in addition to the majority of boxing fans, for his superior skills as well as his charisma and entertainment value. Ask non-boxing fans about Joe Calzaghe and they'll think you're referring to a friendly Italian eatery.

The fact that Joe Calzaghe fans like yourself have to type a detailed essay putting his case forward on a boxing forum would suggest he probably isn't the GOAT after all.

Badintentions2 Is a complete moron, I agree... I have dealt with him before in the past, but that doesn't excuse the fact that the thread starter and the other *** with the dog avatar are completely ignorant and bias fans. Take your nut huggery to www.ISUKCALZAGHESNUTS.com

Does he have a granite chin? Yes
Does he have the heart of a lion? Yes
Does he have power in both hands? No
Does he have lightning fast speed in both his hands and movement? No
Does he have unmatched stamina resources? Yes

Plus, added to all of these attributes, he has an padded resume of a tomato cans and unworthy opponents , ranging from bums like Ashira, Salem, Manfredo, Mkrtchyan, Pudwill, Jimenez, Mcintrye, Starie, Thronbey, Gimenez, Sobot (all WBO title defenses) to the greatest prospects like Omar Sheika. Here is a breakdown of just some of the fighters Calzaghe defeated:

Chris Eubank: Shot faded, weight drained, Punch shy after Watson disaster, sick with flu took fight on 2 weeks notice whilst preparing for a fight at LHW.

Robin Reid: Decent win but not spectacular.

Mario Veit: "This unbeaten German tank" :rofl Glass jawed robot German hype job.

Byron Mitchell: Premature stoppage Byron was OK and would have KTFO later on.

Jeff Lacy: Overrated power and limited Boxing ability. Prime Reid would have beat him and the guy struggled with Sheika.

Mikkel Kessler: Good fighter but has not beaten any great fighters only decent contenders and weak paper champions.

Bernard Hopkins: Old and yet most people thought he won the fight.

Roy Jones Junior: The definition of shot to bits! Prime RJJ would have beaten Calzaghe with ease.

So there you have it, I have proven that Calzaghe is a fraud :good

Can people not PM me saying that Ali beats Calzaghe please? I will delete it straightaway, I'm not interested.

Ali is tailor made for Calzaghe, it would be a hard, but clear UD for Calzaghe over either 12 or 15 rounds. For those wondering about weight, I think Calzaghe can carry 190 comfortably.

Power in both hands? yes - watch earlier fights - why do you think his fists are so brittle?

Speed? Of course he does how could you say he doesn't have speed?

I am not even going to comment on the biased bashing of opponents...
