You are absolutely right my man. But Calzaghe has way more power than Thomas Hearns..

Well we seen this weekend that Brock is now the King of MMA. How would Joe do vs Brock. I think Brock is just as fast, and much stronger then Joe. I do think Joe has him with the Chin. But what the hell do I know.

    :p

Why are you comparing Brock to Calzaghe (**** sport to the sweet science) ? I dont infect the MMA thread with boxing references so dont do it here !

    Good wind up thread

No time to read any of it though.

Without giving it careful thought, I've got Joe at about #8 (could be a little lower) on the

Second tier in no particular order:

    Graciano Rocchigiani
    Joe Calzaghe
    Steve Collins
    Sven Ottke
    Robin Reid
    Markus Beyer
    Thulani Malinga
    Mikkel Kessler
    Byron Mitchell
    Glen Johnson
    Jeff Lacy
    Lindell Holmes
    Omar Sheika

    Probably missing another couple guys

Woah princess Britney, you being serious ? Not one of them barring Jones touches Calzaghe. And we all know what happened to Jones dont we? Calzaghe was nearly 37 at the time of the fight and past his prime

    Thanks, man.

Most good athletes can get the list right if they have the opportunity to watch the fighters perform.

Many ESB posters get the list wrong because they are apparently better at internet posting & keyboard wars than any actual sports.:D

    Dan,

Got a number of posts already spelling out his career. You can search and read them rather than have me reiterate. Or, go to the Brit Forum and go through the thousands of JC threads. Wade through the nuthuggers and you'll find a number of posters who have a correct handle on his career and abilities.

Alternatively, just watch every single fight (as I have) and for the fighters listed and compare.

If you still have the same opinion it means you are ****ing lousy ass non-athlete with no ability to discern great quality from merely good.

Brit. There's no way any of them apart from Jones come close to Calzaghe
