Divisional series like this could potentially remove the 'alphabet' from alphabet titles - we may actually be able to again acurately gauge the best fighters in each division (assuming it catches on and other divisions also get a run). The BIG QUESTION for mine is what happens to the individual titles and organisations' interests while this is all taking place?? Do all the single titles just freeze while this is happening? Do we end up with one unified champ - I'm guessing not? Maybe the above issues are still in the melting pot with the organisers? Does anyone actually know?

WBC champ & its top 3 ranked contenders are in the tournament so they wont be stripping anyone for the duration of the tourny.
WBA Mandatory is Gusmyl Perdomo who is promoted by Sauerland also, will apparently fight Kessler prior to the tournament beginning. Sauerland said this on record the other day. Tho after 12 odd months unless the WBA grants an exception, there could be issues when another mandatory will become due. The WBA can always come out & back the tournament like the WBC has, i guess time will tell.

There was of course the old rule whereby if someone KOed a world champ in a bout where both fighters made weight they would automatically win the title irrespective of whether it was a title bout or not - but I dare say someone would have scrapped that rule long ago (it was always a worry for champs decades ago when putting on demo bouts for extra cash).
I dont think we will see Kessler risked at this stage....not enough time left. Comp starts October thats only 14 weeks...if kess hurt his back again he may miss the tournament.
You could be right that Taylor beats Mandy on points but Froch is a different kettle of fish......... The bloke is terrible i mean TERRIBLE, he's that slow it's not funny, Taylor was clearly beating him on points in that fight, just ran out of gas in the 12th. Danny Green at his best wld beat Froch, i can't wait for this bum to get exposed. Mundine is nowhere near the fighter he was in 2005 but i'd expect him to outpoint Froch clearly.................... I'd hate to think the damage Kessler will do to Froch.......... it scares me.
Ash I actually picked the mandy/green fight to a tee. But I think mandy has missed his opportunity as that was his peak & look who he's fought since, no one of world scene importance. But in each of the fights prior to Geale, sub par fighters either dropped or hurt him & made him look very beatable by their standards. Along comes Geale & I won't deny it was a close fight but Danny Geale pushed him to his limits I thought. Those limits are not enough to beat the lieks of those competing in the super 6 168 tournemant. Beaver one thing you have to remember about Froch is he's ****ing strong puncher who applies the pressure. He only needs to land one like the taylor fight & its all over for mandy. ANd I don't believe mandy can keep away from him for 12 rds.
