Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!!:yep

Lucian Bute is a notable absentee from the SuperSix SM Tournament and when Showtime was questioned on this they replied that he 'wasn't invited'.:deal

Lucy recently turned down the chance to unify the WBC/IBF titles by fighting Carl Froch in the UK, prefering instead to go over old ground by facing Andrade on a Floyd Mayweather undercard.

It's clear that his reluctance to face a really tough challenge in the other guy's own country, was the main reason that Bute was not invited to participate in this marvellous tournament, as he would have potentially have to have faced Kessler in Denmark,Froch in UK(already bottled out of that one) and Abraham in Germany, as well as the three Americans in America.

Bute has effectively well and truly marginalised himself by showing no balls. He now finds himself on the outside whilst this tournament takes the SuperMiddle stage for the next two years. He can defend his IBF strap against sub standard opponents in Montreal or on other fighters undercards and who will even notice?

Don't be a hater...I can assure you that Bute will be gunning to fight the winner of this tournament when his business with Andrade is over...Dont blame a guy who wants to prove all detractors wrong by fighting Andrade again and winning without contreversy this time...

The entire boxing planet wanted a rematch against Andrade, who is a tougher fight than Froch, stylistically speaking. So, Bute showed balls. If he had taken the Froch fight, there would have people to say he's running away from Andrade. See, you can't win with haters like you. Be happy, your boy is in the tournament. Be decent, shut up about Bute.

Showtime didn't invite Bute because he's not American. That left three spots. Sauerland takes two spots and Hennessy takes the other. That's it. You can try to justify what you want but the main fact is this tournament is made by promoters, who did what was best for their own boxers, not to have the best tournament.

My biggest regret is that Bute won't be the first to beat Froch.

Everyone thinks they can beat Froch just like everyone thinks Margarito is 1-dimensional. Froch is has every tool Andrade has and more and look what he did to that southpaw wimp of yours. Bute is insignificant at least Froch had the balls to fight a man better than Bute in Taylor - ABROAD - for his 1st defence.

Bute is the biggest joke in the SMW division.

If you believe in your boxer, you don't have to call his opponents jokes. How can Bute be a joke?
You just proved again that you're just a nuthugger and a hater. You can't use any judgment. Froch doesn't have all Andrade's tools. He doesn't have the workrate, he's not even close. Second, we know now that Margarito is not 1-dimensional, he also has special gloves. Strange idea to bring this guy to prove something...
I'm glad not to have your brain.

Bute struggled against a guy Kessler schooled, he wont last long with real competition.

Froch is better than Andrade. I agree with that. It's a question of styles. Andrade is a boxer who can trouble Bute with his relentless pressure. Froch does not put half that much pressure. I'm sure you can understand that.

Bute has not been left with many great options for the next two years and there will be no way he can claim to be the best SMW he will just look like a decent paper champion.

The only mega fight out there for him is Pavlik. Bute should fight Andrade, A.Green, Balzoy (WBO Champ) and Pavlik in the next 2 years to keep his resume looking semi-decent.

If you watch all the fight, you'll notice Bute also schooled Andrade. And by the way, I think Bute would win against Froch, not Kessler. What was your point again?

He didnt school Andrade like Kessler did. Not even close. I think Froch would clearly win against Bute. I guess we wont find out soon.

Don't be a ****ing idiot. If you're in the middle of negotiating a multi-fight deal worth close to $10 million dollars, are you going to make it easy for someone else to make a fight with you for a fraction of that?
