I should have put up a poll. It seems that many think that Bruno, very much a "nearly man" throughout his career, would KO today's top heavyweight. Interesting indeed.
Do any of you know what you are talking about when you say Wlad is faster? Have any of you seen Bruno fight?
This is funny cos I have seen snails who react quicker than bruno to a shot. Once he gets hurt he goes into a shell and is slow slow slow....
Wow. His chin is actually solid; he has stamina issues and tires out late in the fight, which is why he would get KO'd.
I have always thought Bruno would destroy Wald in a brutal fashion, Bruno is all wrong for Wlad, good reach, solid jab, aggressiveness, wild hook. Wald power can always finish a fight very early, but he seem more and more gunshy in his recent fight.
I agree. Bruno has a solid chin. His issue was always going into a shell when hurt and not buying time, and running out of gas. He got KO'ed because he was terrible on the back foot when hurt and also he got horribly tired past the 6th round. Thats the reason for my prediction on this fight as a 7th round KO.
Walad would dictate the fight, control the fight and wear him down. Bruno would never be able to dominate Wlad. Wlad is bigger than Bruno has longer reach and a jab like a hammer.
No way would WALDO stop Bruno early, only Tyson managed that and even when he did he still took some good shots and got wobbled first time out. If Bruno could wobble Tyson with a left hook he'd probably take WALDOS head clean off, 44 Magnum style :yep If it went more than 6 rounds you'd have to favour WALDO due to Brunos stamina issues but WALDO has had stamina problems too remember. Bruno wouldn't be out-boxed in this either, it'd be close on the cards regardless of who won.
What happens when Wlad gets hit? He panics and he would do that against Bruno after he tastes his power. Bruno isn't going to sit back like the rest of Wlad's oppnents.
WALDO is taller but he isn't much bigger, certainly isn't stronger, and definately has a shorter reach :deal Bruno was winning a battle of the jabs with Lewis back in the day....his problem was the same as WALDOS, good jab and power but not much else to write home about - and it always cost him at the very highest level. He lost to far better fighters than WALDO has lost to though.
