it was a really tight argument and that left hook rattled lewis to his toes but lewis eventually pulled ahead based on ring iq and technique...these two traits wlad has shown a wealth of since manny

 

If Wlad fought all of Bruno's opponents then I think he loses to all the people Bruno did and in very similar fashion.

Well yes, I suppose beating up a load of little blokes that don't hit back shows IQ, Bruno was guilty of the same for a lot of his career too, which is why they're being used in this match-up I suppose.

 

come on, wlad is a MUCH smarter fighter now. he controls the distance, goes virtually untouched and it's not because no one WANTS to hit him but because he doesn't let them. wlad has utilized his strengths and nullfied his weaknesses and that's smart

 

I didn't say no-one wanted to hit him I said he's fighting guys that don't hit him.

Someone like Bruno would hit him, and often because he had the physical tools and the skills to do it - and we all know what happens when WALDO gets hit. Bruno hits at least as hard as Sanders and Brewster that's for sure, and was a better boxer too. This fight is no comfortable win for WALDO, no chance.

completely agreed. Bruno gets way too little credit on this forum. he came up short but he was invariably competitive and fought in arguably the second deepest heavyweight generation ever. Like you said: he has the size, physical strength and skills to take wlad into deep, deep waters. Wlad could not push him off or muscle him when he gets close and people are writing off bruno's jab which was fantastic.

I just feel that the wlad of today is so good, at so many things that bruno would be worn down late rounds. Wlad is one of the most effective boxers in the world today.

Wlad's effective though, because he's fighting small, limited plodders with slow footwork and slow punches.

Difference is here, Bruno has the weapons to get to and hurt Wlad.

 

Wlad would get KO'd if Bruno rushed him hard & he paniced which would be a very strong possibility, vitali while no where near as skilled, fluid, fast, or talented as Wlad, would never panic and lose his composure in a fight which is what Wlad does when someone makes it a fight. This would honestly be about 50/50 bruno's **** stamina and suspect jaw VS Wlad's not so good stamina, suspect jaw & lack of composure.

 

Prime Tyson x2, Lennox Lewis, Tim Witherspoon, James Smith. All of these fighters beat Bruno and became champions. Tyson and Lewis are leagues better than Wlad. Bruno only got KO'd by these guys because of stamina issues save Tyson. He was ahead on the cards against all of them except Prime Mike.

So you say he ranks higher than Lennox Lewis? Wow. You really know nothing outside of Wlad Klitshcko. You say Lewis doesn't have the skills of Wlad?

Frank Bruno has a comparable jab, comparable stamina and more power. Study up my friend.
