I can't see anybody beating Kessler in this tournament.

He really is a superb fighter.

Who do you think has the best chance?...And how?

  2. I agree, i cant see anyone beating him. I dont know who has the best chance.

i agree i dont think any of these fighters can adapt in a middle of a fight the way joe did back in 2007 against kessler they dont have the skills

Ward: possibly as long as he can stay out of the way of Kessler's big shots - which I don't see him doing.

    Froch: Slim to none.

Dirrell: Really have not seen enough of him to make a judgement, but I would guess he doesn't have that much of a chance.

Abraham: Lacks workrate to beat Kessler, don't think he has the power to stop him either.

Taylor: Possibly has the best chance, if he can keep his stamina up.

I could see Froch loosing to him first time round, but beating him in a re-match.

You have to re-watch it, Kessler did great, but Calzaghe won by at least 4 rounds.

i think kessler hits harder then froch and is a better all round fighter so i see him stopping taylor in 7 rounds

The "boxers" Ward, Taylor and Dirrel have the best chance. I wouldn't put cash on any of them doing it though,

The only reason he may not win it is if the lack of activity has regressed him as a fighter. Apparently he's fulfilling his mandatory before the tournament starts. That should be a good gauge as to how he will fair in the tournament.

  11. Kessler's straight right hand is frightening and when he sets it up with the jab he could KO anybody.

lol I love Froch getting wrote off (I don't think he will win it either), everyone seems to give an undefeated fighter who to my mind gave us the fighter of the year this year with Taylor (for British fans) no chance at all, I know he is a limited fighter but his jaw is made of cast iron and his shots when he starts to get to you are like repeated hammer blows, I see Kessler take it but I think he gets up off the canvas to do it even if he has never been KO'd before (I dunno if he has been down before). Really gonna be rooting for him and I don't think he has as little chance as everyone makes out, he is certainly gonna go in there with confidence and Kessler has been gone from the sport quite some time. Come on the Cobra!

  13. I agree that it would be silly to write off Froch. In his last 2 fights he has shown that he can compete at a very high level. He has also shown a very solid chin twinned with tremendous determination.

  14. He has looked good against b/c level guys but we are yet to see how he preforms against a higher level of fighter

apart from winning a few rounds against Joe what has he done

Don't get me wrong I think he is a good fighter, but he is not unbeatable and fights with ppl Like AA, Taylor, Froch are going to be his toughest tests yet (apart from joe)

Anyway he is half English so he i'll be getting behind him

Don't get me wrong, I will be cheering Froch on as well, but he starts the fight as a massive underdog and he needs to sort out his defence and gameplan completely if he is to have any chance, and at his age a change in style is incredibly difficult to do.
