I rate Duran as no1 at LW because of his achievements above LW, I rate Leonard as a top2 WW partly because of his achievements at MW, Henry Armstrong gets rated at FW nearly soley based on his achievements above FW and so on and so on

Calzaghe and Hopkins werent different fighters at 175, neither had size advantages, only older fighters.

Classic posters worry about 2-3lbs way too much when the weight is pretty irrelevant some of the time

Kessler has a chance, with this tournament and all, but if it comes down to a close call you gotta remember what happened when they met.

He can be the greatest pound for pound ever if.

    And here is the catch.....

    He beats the right oponents.

Of course if kessler does all this it does a lot of good to calzaghe resume as well, it proves that kessler is a top top fighter and an ATG and calzaghe beat him in his prime, i'd rate kessler higher if he managed to do all that but it improves joe resume at that same time

You really are a dire poster PP. Every time I think you couldn't conjure up any more garbage, you go and shock me all over again.

    So you rank...

Junior Jones higher than Marco Antonio Barrera then?
Buster Douglas higher than Mike Tyson then?
Freddie Norwood and Chris John higher than Juan Manuel Marquez then?

There are COUNTLESS other examples I could cite, but the point is made. You're an idiot.

    1. You can't agree with the points in my post because you're a ****wit, now name 1 fighter better than a 43yo Hopkins, there isn't 1 other than just maybe Dawson who Kessler turned down the opportunity of facing. Most the names you listed were B/C Class anyway and if you can't see that you don't know boxing.

    2. Ofcourse not but I rank Leonard over Hearns, Charles over Moore etc. Calzaghe had a dominant reign and beat Kessler, whatever Kessler does hes still proven in the ring to not be as good as Calzaghe.

As it is Kessler hasnt got a win on par with Eubank/Hopkins/Jones Jr and probably doesnt even have a win on par with Reid/Mitchell/Lacy. So out of Calzaghes top7 wins, Kessler has zero as good as any in Joe's top7

Other than Calzaghe hate you don't have 1 worthwhile point

I said IF they bounce back and he beats them convincingly. Let's face it: RJJ was washed up, and Calzaghe only scraped past Hopkins. A convincing win over a rejuvinated, prime Pavlik would top either of those victories imo.

DINAMITA doesn't hate Calzaghe at all PowerPuncher.

Kessler can be above Calzaghe in terms of resume, but Joe C's H2H effectiveness at 168 is nearly unparalleled; except from Roy Jones, and on his best day (maybe) James Toney.

    Yawn. The usual insults.

However, why not just answer my question you yellow-belly?

    You said:

    So I am asking you:

By the exact same logic, do you rank...

Junior Jones higher than Marco Antonio Barrera then?
Buster Douglas higher than Mike Tyson then?
Freddie Norwood and Chris John higher than Juan Manuel Marquez then?

Yes or no answers please, that's all that's required.

He needs something to throw back when he is being set straight on an absymal post.

Dementia you first lowered the tone by resorting to insults. And now you call me a 'yellow belly', not knowing if I'm either the bravest of all men or the world's biggest coward, just like your posts, your insults are based on zero fact

I previously answered your question in my prior post, obviously you have the reading comprehension of a 5yo though and couldnt find the answer.

If Kessler wins the tourney and unifies the division. He's the best SMW ever. Depending on what he looks like in those fights of course.

Lets bare in mind Hopkins won every round against Pavlik schooling him and arguably exposing him, Calzaghe has a win over Hopkins, a win over Pavlik doesn't stand up as an upper echelon win unless Pavlik becomes a 160lb and 168lb God, and he won't
