Whoever wins the tournament will end up on HBO.

Showtime needs to up their production to be on par with HBO, even if their actually fights are better their show looks cheap in comparison to HBO Championship boxing and B.A.D.

i agree they need to up their production. They need to hire the guys who produces those MMA shows on Showtime. Its amazing how good those shows are compared to their boxing shows. And their on the same network.

its still far below HBO but it definitely up'd their calibur of fighters that they feature.

But HBO does like countdown series and 24/7's and those touchy interviews to promote fights...**** like that.

Showtime still hasnt picked up on this **** yet.

Showtime has been better than HBO for years IMO.

Once the golden era retires (Mosley, DLH, Hopkins, Pac, Mayweather)which isnt far away, I think Showtime has a real good chance in becoming #1 in boxing. HBO keeps overpaying for fights and it is starting to screw them over big time.

The tournament winner will fight Bute, Pavlik, or both on HBO. Write that down.

Al's too inconsistent. He'll provide spot-on analysis and then blurt out something that just patently isn't true. Or pull a Lampley and talk over significant turning points in a match to finish whatever long-winded point he was making.

Steve Farhood, however - he's my guy.

Showtime is still behind HBO. The production is pretty bad and Showtime doesn't show 24/7, ringlife, or a Countdown. That is something Showtime needs to do and have more fights.
