"nervous energy" won't be the thing that loses him this fight, if you're gonna have any bad habit then nervous energy is probabily the least worse one to have as it can be tought out of you, khan has waaaay more badder habits that will cause him problems, like walking into punches and being front heavy by that i mean falling into his own punches because of bad balance and his boxing IQ is suspect to say the least

this fight is the work of freddie roach.....roach has a proven track record of picking guys for his fighters.......like i have said before i see khan winning 116-111, or 117-110 on the cards.....with khan getting knocked down early, but getting back up......or kotelnik has a late flurry that puts khan down to make things interesting.....

but this is a hand picked opponent by mr. freddie roach......like how he wants khan to fight morales next....or trying to bait hatton into fighting khan saying"hatton will come knocking on our door"......I used to like roach, but he has let money go to his head a bit...

if khan gets put down against a smart fighter like kotelnik i can't see him making it outta there, especially if its late on in the fight

roach has done a marvellous job choosing pacquiao matches, he basically feasted on over the hill legends getting outboxed by one of those even after he was shot, he never dominated a division, picked the wickest link at 135 and avoided a marquez rematch for four years and got a dodgy decision in the rematch, if roach does a similar job with khan then good, he could've done with roach's "handpicking" before presscott which was one the biggest **** ups in brit boxing history

Roach would have avoided Marquez all together if he was cherry picking for Pacquiao. It's the worst possible styles match imaginable for Pac.

I know i find it amazing that even roach said that he was skeptical about khan after the prescott fight, and then he sparred with manny, and held his own so he decided to train him......for christ sakes manny was dropped by a body shot in sparring by urbano antillon......sparring is important, but its not the end all be all......I still think roach is skeptical about khan, but he like all of us see that khan does have natural born skill.....and roach is quoted many times saying "fighters are born not made"....which i agree and also to a degree disagree with that statement....he took a one-handed brawler named pacquiao and made him a boxer....

Kotelnik does everything slightly better than Willie Limond.

I think Khan is more susceptible to being knocked down, than he is to being knocked out, if you get what I mean. He's been down a lot, but only Prescott has gotten him out of there, and he nearly decapitated him to do it.

So yeah, I think Khan wins by UD, probably getting off the floor late on and just about seeing the fight through.

so khan gets KD'd late when he's gassing and still makes it to the end and wins a UD?

i just can't see khan making it the distance if he's dropped (depends how heavly and in what circumstances, if its a long way to go in that round for example) kotelnik is accurate, precise and will finish him off

they tried their hardest to avoid him all together, they avoided him for 4 years when everyone was screaming for a rematch and waiting for marquez to go stale, in the end they had little choice but to take the fight as it was the biggest fight and payday for pacquiao

they weren't exactly gonna fight guzman or guys with similar risk but less reward

rather like clottey, kotelnik doesn't finish his meal only difference being that kotelnik skips the starter, some of the main course and just waits for the dessert...if that makes sense

close but convincing win for khan although i do worry about him down the
stretch and as i said his boxing IQ is suspect he's gonna need to tie him up a lot
