Murray is a bitter, twisted and extremely limited fighter.

He knows he'll get knocked out as soon as he steps up in class and so hates the fact that Khan hasn't given him at least one big pay-day. Especially a pay-day he thinks could result in him being able to land a lucky punch and knock out a more talented fighter because of a glaring weekness that fighter has.

 

Hamed walked through some pretty decent opposition and he won the Euro strap.

Fighters who can draw get better oppertunities than fighters that can't. That's the way it is, and always will be.

Khan gets big fights because people want to see it, with Hatton out of the picture he's the countrys most well known and popular boxer. Khan - Kotelnik can fill out the 02/MEN and sell enough PPV's for Sky to justify sticking it on SBO. Murray - Kotelnik wouldn't draw flies.

 

John Murray wouldn't make weight for a fight against Khan.

In all seriousness, Barrera would beat Murray. He is so unskilled it's unreal. I wouldn't normally make these harsh comments about a boxer, but Murray deserves it for his unreasonable words on Khan. If Khan hasn't earned his title shot, Murray certainly hasn't earned a shot at Khan.

I think ***an would look good on Murrays record.

 

Khan has done a darn sight more than Gavin Rees. I wonder if Murray was jibber jabbing about that peice of matchmaking

 

Now, how come Murray doesnt get accused of arrogance and delusion, yet Khan does? He takes however many rounds it was to wear down a a guy Khan blew away in the first round, a couple of years back. Why is the level of Khan's opposition questioned and ridiculed, but not John Murray's ? Why is Khan held to a different standard than any other young boxer ?

Murray and Khans records are very similar for me.Murray is behind Khan due to a few setbacks(some his own making) and the fact that Khan has a better promoter.But the fact remains what Murray says about Khan is spot on,what has he done to deserve this shot?Im sure a lot of boxers are bitter about Khans dodge filled way to a title shot and riches.I would suggest that had he gone the British/European route he would have more than 1 loss on his record and be further away than Murray to a title shot.Whether Murray is up to world level remains to be seen but i think the British and European titles are well within his grasp,and whatever level he reaches he will be able to sleep at night knowing that he has genuinley earned it!
