I think khan by ud,i can`t see khan knocking kotelnik out.Kotenik has been in with harder punchers then khan. Khan will start out strong and will look like he is outclassing Kotelnik, but khan will tire and kotanik will come in to it and start landing on khan but with roach in his corner he will have a plan b and will hang on and get the decision. That's where my money is going.
I think Khan will dominate the fight from the start being too fast for Kotelnik's single pace but never really troubling kotelnik and Kotelnik not being quick enough to hurt Khan. Khan UD
I cant predict one result, im very unsure. If Khan wins (bull**** stoppages aside) i think it will be a points win, something like 117 - 111 to Khan, maybe suffering an early knockdown aswell but getting up to carry on with the job. If Kotelnik wins i think it will be around round 6-9, With Khan simply doing what he was doing, Khan starts to stop circling on the outside and plants his feet for body punches, they work effectivly, then Khan throws some combinations to Kotelniks gloves hoping for a stoppage, Kotelnik takes it on the gloves and counters with a hook, Khan is stunned and chased around the ring, put down, gets up quickly, Kotelnik keeps attacking with Khan staggered and the referee jumps in and stops the fight, Kotelnik TKO 9. I HOPE Khan. Gut feeling tells me Kotelnik with a hard counter punch... Good luck Amir, bring the WBA title back to the U.K
Believe me, I see the same possibility. there could very well be a flurry stoppage. For my part I'm just doing a stylistic evaluation, based on what I have seen. I'm not taking dodgy ref's into consideration, more fool me most likely:-(
To be honest I haven't got the first clue how this fight is going to pan out, thats what makes it so compelling. On a cheerier note I have just seen a repeat of Enzo Mac being put down by a peachy right hand from Afolabi...class shot
The Polish guy on the GF, Andy, is high on Lebedev for the win 2moro. Interesting:think Saying that, Lebedev has one of the most padded records I've seen in a long time.
We can stop all this dodgy ref bull**** right now. The man officiating tomorrows fight has refereed over 100 world title fights since 1973, was the first man to ref world title fights in all 17 weight divisions and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2004...he isn't a member of Warrens triumverate of pet refs (Uncle Dave, Micky Vann, Terry O'Connor)
At the weigh in Mac looked physically dominating. Lebedevs shape, size and face suggests to me that he shuffles forward with an ineffective high guard throwing single wide shots...bet i'm not wrong. I have a feeling that Enzo is in for an easyish nights work (thats this kiss of death for poor old Macca)
There are so many ways this fight can go, but I will give you one to feast on. This is for a TKO win for Khan. Khan starts well, Kotelnik does not land many shots at all in 4 or 5 rounds, Khan is picking his shots well and using good movement and speed. Kotelnik by 6th starts to try hard to find Khan after crowd getting right behind Khan when he has been landing fast shots, Khan starts countering Kotelnik when he coming and looking for Khan, Khan lands a few hard shots to back Kotelnik up and then unloads on him after Khan as forced Kotelnik on the ropes. Khan downs Kotelnik with a good body shot, count goes to 8 Kotelnik gets back up, Khan again jumps on him with fast combos, ref jumps in stops the fight at near end of 6th. Khan wins via TKO Not saying that WILL happen but COULD be ONE of the outcomes.
Lebedev's face suggested to you he fights like a bum? :good You are actually correct. He pretty much does come in close throwing wide hooks. His guard isn't high for a Russian though...its around his chin or below
I'd like to know what you are basing this on Darni? Kotelnik doesn't go down that often.:deal I'm seeing Khan UD or Kotelnik KO in this fight.
I think Khan will win on points but will have to get off the canvas to do so But I'm starting to to have my doubts about a khan win...Kotelnik's experience might be too much for Khan ! I will be extremely impressed if Khan knocks him out in style
