You have got to be kidding me - you didn't give him one round, and you didn't even see him winning the last round until the stoppage??? :huh

If (and I don't think it will, although there's always a possibility) Froch were to win the tournament undefeated then I don't think there's any doubt that his career will have been better than Calzaghe's, even if he does go on to lose a few later on. A resume with the names Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham + whoever he beats in the semi's and final would be mightily impressive. Only beating Kessler however, will not put him near Calzaghe.

that was never Frochs fault, injuries and a shot promoter.

Truth is Froch did things the hard way and people respect him allot more for it.

I had it 9-3 Taylor if we're going by rounds not including any of the guys knowdowns on eachother.

That is a lot more of a realistic scorecard, but for someone to have not given Froch ANY round at all is ludicrous.

He was getting hit 3 shots to one the entire fight, outfought, outboxed and out thought too,Froch is not genuine world class and will not be champion for long. His hands and feet are slow as treacle, has no defence,no real world class skills and does hit anywhere near as he or others think he does.I felt sorry for Taylor and Iam not a Taylor fan.

The 'ageing' Taylor that is a year younger than Carl Froch?

    Aye?

Explain: A totally done Richie Woodhall or Eubank....? Repeatedly beating average folk does not make a great fighter.... Fulham win lots of games in the Premiership..

An old man Hopkins (who grew with age) is the only name worth talking about...

Using your ridiculous analogy - even Man Utd play Hull City twice a season.

Hell, they even play Burnley, Sunderland & Stoke twice next season... Does repeatedly beating average teams make a great team?

The only thing worth talking about was getting to the Champions League final but they fell short.

It's a exception silly analogy, but when did Mr Calzaghe ever play in a world cup semi final, let alone a World cup final?

    When did George Best?

Great players are just great players.

    Same for boxing.

OK, I just think that if Froch beats Kessler, I think he deserves as much credit as Mr Calzaghe.
